Chapter Thirteen

Erza's POV

"Oh we're in for a wonderful surprise!" Chapati said after everyone placed. "Fallen Angels' Haiki scored first, Fairy Tail's Canissa scored second, Sabertooth's Rogue scored third, Mermaid Heel's Arana scored fourth, and Lamia Scale's Toby placed last! Fallen Angels has 10 points, Fairy Tail has 7, Sabertooth has 4, Mermaid Heel has 1, and Lamia Scale has 0!"

"Now it's time for our battle part, kabo. Yajima-san, please tell us the mages who are battling today, kabo." Mato said.

"Well, how about Fallen Angels' Hasani Huani and Fairy Tail's Erza Scarlet?" Yajima-san said. Wait, me?

"Go, Erza, beat the crap out of them." Natsu smiled. I nodded. I walked to the middle of Domus Flau. Hasani is the girl with all green. She looked at me blankly.

"Time limit is thirty minutes. Let the battle begin, kabo!" Mato exclaimed.

"Requip! Heavens Wheel!" I chanted. "Blumenblatt!"

The attack hit her head on. I continued attacking her. "Trinity Sword!" She dodged quickly and started using her magic.

"Change!" Hasani exclaimed. "Sky!" Somewhat like requip, she changed into a sky blue outfit. Her hair and eyes even changed. "Sky Force!"

My attack and I were somehow pushed back by some kind of force. My attack hit myself instead, giving me minor injuries. She's very strong, but if I keep changing armors, she may not be able to keep up, but that also uses too much of my magic. I'll just requip another armor.

"Requip! Sea Empress Armor!" I chanted. "Water Slash!" My attack was too slow, as she easily dodged it. She was very swift and agile. I had the perfect armor for swift and agile attacks.

"Requip! Flight Armor!" I chanted.

She looked at me and frowned. "Change!" She chanted. "Snow!" She changed into all white. Her skin was noticeably paler. "Snow Monster, Yeti!"

"Ohhh!!! Is that the legendary snow monster, Yeti? Will Erza be defeated, or will Hasani be defeated?" Chapati announced.

A huge snow monster appeared before me and roared. It tried to step on me. I quickly dodged which was quite easy since the Yeti wasn't really that fast. It was really strong though.

"Sonic Claw!" I shouted as my attack hit the Yeti, making it disappear and turn into snow.

"Requip!" I have to finish this faster. "Armadura Fairy Armor!" I chanted. The Armadura Fairy armor is one of my strongest armors. "Fairy Piercing Sword!" I attacked using all my strength.

I glanced over at Hasani. She was on the ground, panting. Oh wow, she's still conscious. "I'm fine." She said, slowly getting up. What?! I guess I have to use more magic, but I'm nearly out.

"Requip! Black Wing Armor!" I chanted. "Moon Flash!"

"Change! Moon!" Hasani chanted. So 'Moon' is another one of her changes, huh? "Crescent Blood Moon!" A huge crescent shaped moon-like thing appeared in front of me. It was blood red. I realized that it was going to mess with my brain and nerve system. What am I going to do? Wait, this might work.

"Requip! Lightning Empress Armor!" I chanted. If I changed maybe she'll change too. If she changes, maybe her attack will disappear. It's not that likely, but I have to take the chance.

"Change! Lightning!" Hasani chanted. And surprise me. Her 'Crescent Blood Moon' disappeared. "No more changing armor, Erza-san. Whoever's down is down!" Oh so she must have noticed.

"Ah!" I agreed. I wouldn't have changed armor anyways. Her magic is Change Magic, which I think allows you to change your magic element. I could also see that she is a master at all the elements. This could be a problem for me. I glared at her. "But first, can you let me change into my most powerful armor?"

"If you do so, I will as well." She spoke fancily. This girl is too fancy.

"Requip! Nagakami Armor!" I better hurry this up. The Nagakami Armor takes a lot of magic.

"Change! Celestial!" She chanted. After a glow, she had blonde hair, golden dress, and golden shoes. "Celestial Sunshine!"

She attacked first. An attack, as bright as the sun attacked me and hit me. I sprawled on the dirt, nearly unconscious. "Ohh! Titania is on the ground! Does that mean that Hasani wins?!" Chapati exclaimed. I couldn't get up. My whole body hurt. This pain reminded me of... the Tower of Heaven.

"..." Hasani doesn't say anything. She walked over to me and looked at me deep into the eye. "Get up, Erza, your stronger than that." She didn't mock me or anything. I looked deep into her eyes. They were kind.

I slowly stood up. "Oh wait! Titania is getting up!"

"Yeah, thanks." I looked at my armor. It was still the Nagakami armor. i'm going to use my strongest attack. "Nagakami Starlight!" She took the attack head on. Wait, she wasn't able to dodge. I smiled. It was my win.

"Requip! Flame Empress! Flame Slash!" I chanted. The attack hit her again. "Requip! Lightning Empress Armor!" I requiped once again and shot her with lightning. "Requip! Morning Star Armor! Photon Slicer!"

"Look! The battle turned around! I'm supposing Erza won!" Chapati exclaimed.

"Not yet!" Came a voice right in front of me. I gasped when I saw that though Hasani has many scars and bruises already, she was able to stand up. She was panting. Her clothes were battered. She looked terrible, but she was still standing. "This will be my final at-"

She got interrupted by a loud 'ding ding ding!'. "Okay thirty minutes has past! Both team receives five points, kabo!" I was kind of glad. I want to fight her some other time, but not now.

"Good job, Erza-san!" She said, smiling. Then, she staggered. She looked like she was about to fall, but the man with the silver hair teleported to her and carried her bridle-style to the infirmary. I, myself, am really tired so I slowly walked back to my team.

"Good job, Erza!" Natsu exclaimed once I got there. I nodded.

Time Skip, That Night, after day one of the games...

Natsu's POV

I saw a endless darkness. As far as I could see. "Natsu!" A familiar voice screamed. Her voice was full of fear and... sadness. "Natsu!" She called again. Only this time, I realized the owner of that voice.

"Lucy!" I shouted, looking around to see if I could find her. "Lucy, where are you?!" I shouted.

"Natsu! Help!" She screamed. Then, she let out a shriek of pain. I tried picking up her scent, but I couldn't smell anything. Lucy let out another shriek of pain. "Natsu! Over here!" She cried.

I ran over to her voice. I gasped when I saw her. Her whole body was covered in scars, bruises, and large cuts. Her hands were chained to a wall, her body was dangling. Her head was facing down. She looked half-dead. "Natsu." She whispered, looking up a little. "I knew you would come."

I couldn't help it. I quickly broke her chains. Then, I pulled her into a long, warm, hug, although her body temperature was freezing. She looked behind me and screamed. She pushed me aside. When I saw why, I was beyond broke. A laser was going through her body. Written on her face was horror.

"LUCY!!!"
