Chapter Seven

Jellal's POV

I'm really starting to hate young ladies these days. First, in the middle of impressing Erza during the Grand Magic Games, Ultear just had to make Meredy do a sense link, then Meredy, Ultear's (the one who probably gave Meredy her top secret evilness book of evilness) sort of daughter, did the same thing only with jalapeño peppers, (I wonder who's more evil... hard, no impossible decision) then Lucy's sister just threatened me into kissing Erza. Not that I don't want to.

I leaned closer and closer and closer until Erza and my face was only one centimeter apart, then...

Mira's POV

I stared at the empty guild. I sighed and I felt my eyes moistening. They were all gone. They all went to pay their respects. Lucy... my sister-in-law. I loved the sound of that. I wish she was here to see my baby be born. then, she would have been an auntie. I loved the sound to that too.

They wouldn't let me go to the funeral, since I was four months pregnant, but seriously, I need to pay my respects to my sister. I've always adored Lucy. She was beautiful, just like a princess would have been. Though out of all of us, Cani probably took it the worse.

Laxus told me that a few hundred years ago, he and Zeref used to be best buds. They would fight, hang out, and do many more brotherly things. I felt a slight kick on my stomach and gazed down at it. I smiled at the thought of my little angel being born in a few months. Lisanna, who stayed with me so I wouldn't get lonely, suddenly came out of the kitchen.

"Mira-nee, the dishes are almost done. Since Laxus-nii literally forced me to do your work for you, why don't you go to Master's office to see if there is any paper-works you can work on." She smiled.

I nodded and started up the stairs. "I need to have a talk with Laxus later about forcing my sister to do work." I said and Lisanna giggled.

"It's okay, Mira-nee, I like working here." She said.

"I'm glad." I said back.

I entered Master's office and let's just say that his desk is a mess. I took one piece of paper from his desk and thought that it might be Team Natsu's damage bills, but realized that Team Natsu hasn't been on a job together since Lucy left. I sighed and looked at the paper. It says:

Hmm I wonder if Cani is willing to participate. I know how strong she is. She's Fairy Tail's Princess. She's S-Class. A smile played on my lips. I love being her sister. I'm the second closest to her while Erza is the closest, but believe me, she talks to me way more than anyone else. I love Cani. She's so sweet and adorable.

Jellal's POV

I was only a centimeter apart from her. I began to lean even closer, but it struck me that this wasn't right. I will not allow myself to kiss a lady who walks in the light. I can't allow myself to do that. Remember, Jellal, the pain you caused her. I quickly pushed myself away.

"No." I said.

"Jellal!" Meredy shrieked.

I felt my eyes getting moist. I loved her. I love Erza too much. That's way I'll keep her safe.

"Meredy let's go, we're leaving." I said.

"Kiss her now!" Meredy growled.

"We are leaving." I said firmly.

Meredy must have saw the few teardrops on my face, because she nodded and together, we silently walked away. The sky had cleared and a rainbow was forming. I looked behind me one more time and saw Erza's eyes fluttering. Then, they opened. I wanted to hide but I also wanted to talk to her.

"Jellal?" I heard from behind before I ran away.
