Canissa's POV
I stared at the guild known as 'Fallen Angels'. It was odd. I sensed a presence that was so... familiar. I know this presence, yet, I couldn't piece the puzzle together. The one with the cloak seems... mysterious. His or her cloak covered his or her head and entire body. I couldn't even see her hands. His or her face was hidden.
"Hello! Welcome to the first day of the the Grand Magic Games! Our first event is something called Nightmare, kabo." Mato said. The entire stadium cheered. I glanced over at my team.
"Who's going?" I asked. Erza glanced at all of us.
"We need to think smart." She said. "This is something called Nightmare, so it probably has something to do with nightmares. Who is basically nightmares itself in this group?" Erza asked.
Everyone looked at me. I started sweating. Nightmares, huh? "Okay... fine... I'll go..." I mumbled. Erza nodded in approval. I looked at who's going to participate from the other guilds. From Mermaid Heel, Arana joined, Lamia Scale, Toby, Sabertooth, Rogue, and from Fallen Angels, the boy who has black hair.
"Participates may come to the middle, kabo." Mato said. What's up with him and kabo? I walked to the middle along with the other participants. "We have Arana, Toby, Rogue, Canissa, and Haiki, kabo!" So his name is Haiki... that's a nice name, and he isn't bad-looking either.
"Let me explain, the participants are being sent to a world where their fear or nightmare lies at the same time. Whoever breaks out of the world first gets ten points, and so on, kabo." Mato said. "There's no rules, and you can use however much power you want. Everyone else would be seeing this on lacrima screens, kabo." I looked around. I wonder where I'm being sent to.
"Let's begin, kabo!" Mato exclaimed. Before anyone could blink, I was sent to somewhere... familiar.
I looked around. It was beautiful. There was golden meadows, goldish-pink skies, and a familiar feeling. I heard a voice in a distance. "Canissa!" A joyful voice exclaimed. I whipped my head around. My eyes began to tear up. A beautiful blonde was running to me up ahead. Her hair was hanging loosely on her shoulders. Her dress was pure white. She was barefoot. I'd recognized that voice and appearance anywhere.
"Nee-chan!!!" I screamed, running towards her. Her arms stretched out to hug me. I ran into her arms joyously. "I missed you!" I cried.
"I missed you too, Cani." Nee-chan said softly.
"Ahh... beautiful moment isn't it?" An evil voice said from above. I looked up in horror. The skies were now gray and black. The golden meadows no longer exist. The plants all withered. I looked at the man who just talked. My eyes widened in horror.
"Z-Z-Zinic?!?!?!" I stuttered.
"Stuttering now, are we, Your Highness." He cackled. He waved his arms and some black smoke ascended. The smoke slowly made his way to nee-chan.
"Nee-chan!" I shrieked, but it was too late. Nee-chan's body was covered with black smoke. She started disappearing. "Nee-chan!" I screamed.
"Cani!" Nee-chan called before completely disappearing.
"No..." I whispered. Zinic smirked. He started thrashing me with black lightning.
"Humph... looks like my job here is well done." Zinic shrugged when he finished thrashing me and started walking away. I buried my head in my arms and hugged my knees. I wept.
Erza's POV
I stared at the lacrima screen worriedly. Will Cani be okay? "Eh that ain't anything to worry about." Natsu said, grinning. "If she's anything like Luce, then there's not anything to worry about." I looked at Natsu. He had this smile on. Wait, was it me, or did Natsu call Lucy 'Luce'...?
"Did you just call her 'Luce'?" I asked. I looked at the others. Gajeel was watching the lacrima screen, muttering something like 'I should've gone, geehee'. Wendy was looking at Natsu as well.
"Well duh. It's my nickname for her." Natsu said with a serious expression. "I'm not sure what I did, but I'm assuming it was bad. When I realized what I have done, Lucy was already gone. I tried looking for her... but I couldn't find her." Natsu's voice trailed off. "Later, when I realized that she joined Sabertooth I got mad so..." Once again he trailed off.
I gave him a sympathetic glance. I sighed. So most of the people of the guild was being controlled? I have to report this to the master after the games. "What we need to do now is cheer Cani on." I said.
Natsu looked at me sadly, almost looking like he was crying. "But does that bring Luce back? No, so what's the point?" He asked, moping.
I glared at Natsu. "The point is that even if Lucy dies, we still have to win the Grand Magic Games. Why? Remember the Grand Magic Games we had in the year X791? When Lucy said that she wished we can win every year? That's the least we can do for her."
Natsu looked at me and studied me for a while. He then turned away. "Yeah." He smiled his cheeky smile. "C'mon Cani! Get up! Fight! Remember your sister's words!" He shouted. I smiled. I looked over at the others. They were smiling too.
"You go, Cani!" Gajeel murmured, though quite a lot of people heard, since we were close to the audience.
"Go, Cani-chan!" Wendy cheered.
I smiled. "Can you hear us, Cani?" I asked.
Canissa's POV
"C'mon Cani! Get up! Fight! Remember your sister's words!" I heard someone, Natsu I think, shout.
"You go, Cani!" Gajeel murmured though everyone heard.
"Go, Cani-chan!" Wendy cheered.
"Can you hear us, Cani?" Erza asked, a smile in her voice.
"Yeah." I said. "I heard you."
I got up slowly. My body started to become covered with shadows. I'm not afraid anymore. Yes, nee-chan is dead. But with my guild members here, I'll feel much better. And now, I will show them that I'm not weak. "ZINIC!!!" I yelled. I ran towards the direction Zinic went.
I found him. He was watching the skies with an evil smirk. "ZINIC!!!" I screamed again. He turned around with a surprised look on his face.
"What?!" He exclaimed. Before he could attack, I already started my attack. I took out two of the golden Zodiac keys.
"Gate of the Lion, I open thee! Leo! Gate of the Ram, I open thee! Aries!" I chanted. Out came Leo and Aries. "Attack when I say so!" I said to them.
"Okay! I'm sorry!" "Of course, princess." Both Loke and Aries replied at the same time.
"Okay, attack!" I yelled.
"Regulus Impact!" "Wool Bomb!" Loke and Aries attacked at the same time.
"I'm going to add one more spirit!" I exclaimed. I took out another golden Zodiac key. "Gate of the Scorpion, I open thee! Scorpio!"
"We are!" Scorpio said, appearing with a bright light.
"Scorpio, attack him!" I commanded.
"Okay, we are!" Scorpio exclaimed. "Sand Buster!" Scorpio attacked. I looked at Zinic. My spirits' attacks hit every time. I just need to finish it off with one more attack.
"Demon's Secret Art!" I began. "Black Heart!" I chanted, using the spell I used for the MPF. Dust rose and I couldn't see.
"We'll be going now, see you later, Cani." Loke said as he and the other spirits I called out disappeared. I was panting. Summoning three spirits and using this much magic tired me out. I was also injured. I knew that I defeated the replicate of Zinic. The real Zinic is fifty times more powerful.
I felt a bright light and I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I was in the stadium. Everyone saw me and started cheering. I looked over at my teammates. They were smiling. I smiled back. I looked around to see if any other people finished the event. One person finished it before me.
Haiki from Fallen Angels finished before me. This is more surprising. He wasn't injured at all.
Hello! So how do you like it? How crazy strong is this Fallen Angels?! Anyways, Read, Vote, and Comment (RVC) please.
