It had been a week since Meredith proposed to me and ever since we have been trying not to tell people. I wake up to her downstairs cooking omelets, bacon, and pancakes. I say," Breakfast Buffet." She says,'' Yeah I thought you would like some food after last night.'' Last night I lost a patient in the hospital I had known for years. "Thanks babe." I reply "I have to go in today so will you be ok?" She says. I say," Yes I will be fine I love you to." She kisses me on my forehead and leaves. I finish eating and get in the shower.
𝘼/𝙉- 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨.
I cant stop thinkin " 𝑊𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑓𝑎𝑢𝑙𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑑." I fall on the shower floor and start crying. I hear the door open and it's Meredith. She comes in and says," Hey what wrong." She holds my cheeks and moves my hair out my face. She helps me out the shower and drys me off. She takes off her coat and shoes. She grabs the towel and wraps it around me. She grabs me some clothes and puts them on me. She helps me into bed and I fall asleep.
𝗠𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗩
"Hey Derek it's me I need you to come over it's Addison." I say He says," Ok I will be right there." 𝟭 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 Derek comes in and says," What's going on." He follows me upstairs and into the room. "She lost her patient yesterday and I found her in the shower crying." I say Derek says," Maybe we should let her sleep."
𝟭 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗢𝗩 I wake up and go downstairs. I see Meredith and Derek and say," What are you guys doing here." Meredith says," Are you ok." I say," I'm fine just tired why." Meredith opens her mouth but then Derek says," Nothing we are gonna go." They leave. I say," Ok that was weird.
𝗠𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗩 "Why did you do that." I say Derek says," She just lost a patient she is fragile. Let's leave her alone."
𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗢𝗩 I go back upstairs and change into some decent clothing. I grab my coat and car keys and leave.
𝐷𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑟 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑒 "Hi excuse me do you sell congratulations balloons." I say The cashier says," Yes that will be 14.99." I leave the register and get 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚙𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚙 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚒 𝙿𝚘𝚙𝚌𝚘𝚛𝚗 𝙳𝚒𝚜𝚑 𝚜𝚘𝚊𝚙 𝚂𝚘𝚊𝚙 𝙵𝚘𝚘𝚍
"Is this all." The cashier says I say," Yes me and my fiancé are having a party by ourselves, I'm talking to a complete stranger about my love life, I have officially lost my mind." He says," No it's ok, your price is 22.99" I give him the money. I get in the car and call Meredith.
