Chapter 10 (A new base)

Nobody's POV
It's been a week since people started murmuring about a shigadeku relationship and since then it's been an awkward mess of formalities, that is until today. Glass shatters as heroes burst through the back window and kamui woods, grand torino and allmight break through the front door. Kurogiri creates a portal but it quickly gets closed only allowing midoriya and shinsou to get through. The rest of the encounter basically follows the rescue of bakugou, with denki playing bakugou's role and bakugou playing midoriya's role.
 
Midoriya's POV
We finally regrouped two hours later in a previously specified safe house. I looked around at the people surrounding me it was very crowded so, i couldn't see far. I spot a tuff of light blue hair, i get up and make a path towards the tuff. I finally get close enough to confirm its shigaraki "hey..." I call, he turns around and i spot him holding a bloodied bandage against his arm "are you ok?!" I push the rest of the way and analyse his injured arm. "i'm fine" I look up at him and nudged his hand away from the wound "let me see" He looks at me and moves his hand from his wound "i'm alright" I pull the bandage away from his arm to reveal a medium sized gash on his arm. I hesitate but pull shigaraki to the side of the warehouse.
 
I start to pull his sleeve up but he quickly stops me "what are you doing?" "i just want a closer look" I tug his sleeve up a little more just enough to reveal light scars on his wrists "oh..." I look up to him but he's already looking down. I run my thumb over some of the scars silently and feel tears well in my eyes. I feel my tears start to stream down my face and hug shigaraki in an attempt to hide my tears "please never do that again" He quietly hums "i haven't in a while" I feel gentle arms wrap around me, the gesture causes me to let out a quiet sob and shigaraki pulls me closer to his body.
 
Once i calm down i pull away and wipe my tears. I ignore the scars and pull his sleeve up revealing his wound more clearly. I pull my bag off my shoulders and find my bandages. I wrap the wound tightly causing shigaraki to give a small groan in pain. "That should hold till somebody can properly stitch it up" He nods and looks down "you aren't going to tell anyone?" I pause and look at him "no it's your secret to tell" He offers a sad smile "thanks" I hum lightly and stand up offering him a hand. He smiles and takes my hand "y'know under normal circumstances i would say thank you but every time someone offers me a hand i have this urge to smack them" I smile "because of your quirk?" He smiles back “nah just because they have smackable faces” My smile widens.

Ten minutes later shigaraki gets everyones attention "alright, everyone we are working on finding a new base but for now everyone should go underground until we contact you" He scans over the crowd "everyone should keep the cellphone we gave you unused and on your person at all times, now everyone can leave exept dabi, toga, kurogiri and midoriya" He nods off to the side telling the people he named to meet over there. Slowly i make my way to where shigaraki wanted us as most villians started to clear out. I stand and wait with shigaraki for the others to join us, it only takes a minute for them to join us.

Togas the last to join us but the first to speak "what do you want shiggy" Shigaraki taps his foot slightly "i told you to stop calling me that also, the reason i called you was so that we can find a new base" Dabi sigh and lean back against the wall "and how do you expect us to do that?" Shigaraki sends a glare to dabi "I was going to explain that before you interpted me" He faces out to four of us "we are going to split into teams of two dabi and toga, and me and midoriya" Dabi interupts again "what about kurogiri" Shigaraki growl "shut up will you, now kurogiri will send us to different districts to look for a good base" Shigaraki puts his hand in his pockets as he continues "the only real requirements are that theres room for people to live and its well hidden, now kurogiri let start with districts closer to the main city"

Kurogiri opens two portals one for each team and me and shigaraki go through one while dabi and toga walk through the other. The portal leads to a back alley behind a small bakery, both me and shigaraki put are hoods up as we make are way to the main street. We walk for twenty minutes before we spot a abandoned warehouse "that one good?" Shigaraki shake he's head "we need to have private space for people" I nod and we continue our search till we get a call from dabi "hey we found an old hotel it on a queit street and is only two storys plus a basement floor with room" "alright be there in a minute" Shigaraki hangs up and sends a text to kurogiri.
