Eiji and Ash walked into the entrance, meeting one of Runa Yomozuki's workers. (The other people that wear those animal hoodies idk-). "Were here for a visit" Eiji began. "Name?"
"Aslan Callenreese" The worker chipped in, "Also know as Ash Lynx?" Eiji nodded. "Ok- Great, and you would be?" "Eiji O-," Eiji paused, remembering what name he had to use. "Eiji Jabami."
The worker looked shocked, "The Eiji Jabami? You've been missed. Everyone's been waiting for your next gamble!" Eiji nodded sheepishly, Ash however, Was extremely confused. Not only was Eiji from a family of gamblers, he had a gambling reputation? Eiji took Ash's hand and walked him down to where they would meet Yumeko. "Ash, there are a few rules you need to know."
A/N I forgot about their bags so just come up with something idk
"Ok, like what?" Eiji stopped walked and sighed, "This school is about how good pf a gambler you are, when the end of the day bell tolls, gambling sights pop up all around the school, we gamble real money, if you have dept. You become a house pet." "House pet"
Eiji nodded, "Your treated like dirt, can basically do nothing, a slave." "How do you stop being a house pet." Eiji thought for a moment, "You could pay your dept, graduate, or win a gamble with the student counsel." Ash had heard a lot of weird things in his life this school ranked maybe 4th.
"What can house pets do?" "They have one gamble with any student counsel member, they can eat, attend normal classes, but there basically slaves." Ash nodded, the rules here were weird- not that weird but still.
"EIJI?!?" A high pitched voice came from around the corner, "Hi Yumeko!" Eiji looked relieved to see his sister. Yumeko ran up to Eiji with open arms, wrapping him in a tight hug. "Oh, I missed you so much Eiji, its so lonely home without you- Oh, Have you met , my friends?" Ash was counting the similarities between Eiji and his sister, he was running out of fingers. Three other people rounded the same corner, "Yumeko, you can't run off like that!" The blond girl said.
Eiji looked up from Yumeko to see her friends. Two girls, one with light brown hair and bandaged fingers, and a blond one (that reminded him of Ash kinda) and one boy with dark brown hair. "Hi, I'm Eiji and this is Ash!" Ash gave a simple wave. Yumeko's friends introduced themselves and then the flood of questions. "Why did you leave?" "Uh, I don-" "What brand of cards did you use?" "I think-" "Are you and Ash dating yet?" "We've been dating sense-" "Whats America like?" "Crowded-" Eiji's mind was buffering trying to answer all these questions. Ash smiled, "Eiji.exe needs to restart, please excuse him." The students moved away as to give Eiji some space. "Sorry," Itsuki started, "Yumeko talks a lot about you two but doesn't have that many exact details." "Its fine." Mary chipped in, "You two are dating right? Or did Yumeko just fangirl to much?" Ash sighed, "She's right, we've been dating for a few months." Yumeko beamed, "See!" Eiji smiled, It was the first time in a while he had actually smiled.
"Wanna get some food?" "I was waiting for someone to ask that to be honest."
After food, The students (the characters from kakegurui imma just call them students bc i cant say teens bc ash is like 18) took Ash and Eiji around the school, anyone Yumeko even slightly knew had to see him. Eiji, however, Wanted to stop seeing people because most of them, Knew the name Eiji Jabami. Either a former Student Counsel, one of the best gamblers of the school, or as the first born Jabami. Each time someone recognized him, his smile became more and more fake. "Lets go to the council! They'll love to see you again!" "NO WAY-" Eiji flinched at his burst. "I- I mean They probably have other things to do then see me and-" "Eiji. Are you still scared of the past?" Eiji didn't respond. At this point, Ash was tired of seeing him like this, forcing himself to try not to remember his past. Ash had been in this mind state himself.
He reached out and grabbed Eiji's hand. "I thinks he's tired, he did have a long flight."
"Oh my gosh your right imsosorryfordraggingyouallthiswayEijipleaseforgiveme-"
"It's fine Yumeko, don't worry."
A/N Ok i was wondering where do they kakegurui characters live? do they drive to school from home or apartments? is it a dorm thing or what? I have no clue so-
