Love Between You & Me

Another obstacle?

"What do you think he is doing??", Sandra whispers to her husband. Her eyes fixed straight to Kongpob who is leaning against the wooden door with ears pressed to it. Dominic who is also witnessing his son's wierd act gives a plain No before looking straight. His face sporting the same confusion as his wife. Both of them are standing at the end of the doorway, checking on their son after they saw Kongpob running towards study as soon as his senior is taken away by Forth. Suspicious of later's behaviour that followed him here.

"Honey! Let's go back, okay?? My back has started to ache", Dominic groaned making Sandra look at him and finds him massaging his nape.

"What happened???", Sandra asks but before her husband can answer her head moves back to Kongpob making the old man grumble under his breath.

"Wh..what?? Why are you humming like flies??? Breaking all my concentration..", Sandra chides her husband who rolls his eyes, before holding his wife with both shoulders, turning her his way.

"Lets go. If it is something important, Kongpob would tell us later, okay?", Sandra raises her eyebrows in a you must be joking gesture but Dominic  doesn't budge and takes her away.

"what are they talking about?? I could not hear anything??", a frustrated Kongpob, mutters under his breath, pining his ears more to the dark wood of the study room where Arthit, Forth and his elder brother has disappeared into half an hour ago. 

The young man had not even gotten over his shock to see his senior, Arthit, in the same vicnity as his parents and brother, when the elder greeted Dominic and Sandra and introduced himself to them. And went in search of Beam the very next second, not sparing a single glance to Kongpob, which kind of annoyed the young man. 

"Aaaa!"

"WHOA!"

Both Kongpob and Arthit yelped at the same time when all of a sudden door to the study room pulled open with a start. Making Kongpob stumble and fall into the arms of Arthit. The younger has held the other by shoulders while the senior has his arm splashed over other's back. The pair looks into each other's eyes and the whole world around them fades. 

It is not the first time, the senior is this close to Kongpob but everytime feels like the very first. He stares into the brown iris, a mix of coffee and chocolate, generating a warm and fuzzy warmth inside his heart. His hands itching to brush off the dark fringes so long that they are poking in the honey orbs. His gaze travels south, studying the sharp nose and then rests at those luscious pouts which are slightly parted at the moment. He can feel his mouth salivating to suck on those  plumps. His insides screaming to just capture the delicate fresh with his own and never let go. There is something very addictive about the belligerent lowers that the officer finds himself leaning.

Kongpob eyes widens seeing how Arthit started to bend his head with his eyes firmly stucked to his lips. He panics finding the senior getting more and more closer, diminishing the gap between their lips. Kongpob scrambles to get away from the senior after realising other's intention. At the same time Forth who was witnessing the entire incident along with his husband, swears and comes forward and separates the duo, standing between the two giving a pointed stare to Arthit who has came out of his day dreaming, fortunately. 

"Well, our Kongpob can be clumsy sometimes, ain't it Beam??", Forth jokes, while looking around other people, his gaze turning into a rebuking stare when it lands on Kongpob who bows his head in shame for being caught evasdropping. 

Beam who was silent the whole time glances from his husband to his brother to his friend. His eyes roaming among the trio before understanding dawned on him. His husband's words from few nights comes to his mind. He had shrugged off the question without pondering over it but now after hearing Arthit and whatever he has watched seconds ago, he is sure that he has figured out what exactly his husband was referring to....Arthit likes Kongpob???...
