The whole neighbourhood is in chaos, police vans, ambulance sirens, dead bodies are being carried out on the stretchers, cops swarming the streets looking for hidden hitmen.

Arthit's apartment is a complete mess with cracked windshields, broken vases, unhinged photo frames, bullet holes in the walls, fuse lights, it seems like a hurricane has ran over the house. The neighbours are peeking from their balconies and patios at the new tenant wondering what in the hell has happened in their locality.

Amidst all this is three persons getting medical treatment from parademics while Forth is informing Chief about the attack. Ming is inspecting the damages and Beam is busy collecting blood samples and fingerprints to send to the forensic team.

" ouch!!", Anurak winces diverting all attention to himself. He tries to smile to assure both elders but it only came out as grimace.

" Is it hurting that bad??", Andrew gnawed at his lips. Bullet has grazed his neck but he is used to these kind of injuries or wounds. A healing patch is pasted over his bleeding neck side.

" No P'Andrew !! just a little bit", Anurak answers and looks at Kongpob who has not said anything since he had point blank shooted the attacker.

" phi, you okay ??", Anurak throw the question to Kongpob who just nods his head still bowed low. The younger one wants to see those brown chocolate eyes to know what exactly is going through in his phi's mind.

" So, can you detail me exactly what has happened and why Anurak Sung is here???"

Forth comes forward, pocketing the phone in his jeans. He is dressed in casual jeans and T -shirt, a black leather jacket thrown over it, his I'D pinned to the belt loop. Pulling a chair from the dining table he drags it to the living where all are present, plopping his ass on it. He eyes Anurak who tries for a nonchalant look, there is something about the kid is hitting him in wrong way.

Moreover the case they are handling in ST has ties to Sung family and the presence of little Sung in house of an officer. He leaves the matter to pond over later as Andrew starts retelling the attack.

" That's all officer. The first intruder was related to your ex colleague - Arthit Perawat. I guess, he is someone who had served jail for some crime and officer Perawat had handled his case. ", Forth nods and turns to his brother in law who has yet to say anything.

" And what are you doing here officer Suthalik?? If I remember, your apartment is quite far away from here.", Kongpob can hear the disapproval in Forth's question but decided to ignore it for now.

" I.. I need Andrew to go over some reports, I have prepared."

" And it couldn't wait for, say ,tomorrow??", this time it is Ming who questions, arching his eyebrow.

" No, our commanding officer has given us a deadline to submit all the reports.", Andrew comes out to rescue his boyfriend as he knows why Kongpob was coming to him.

" okay, fine. But what about him?? Why is he here??", Forth points to Anurak who remains quite, his brain not coming up with an answer.

"uhh I ..I was-

" I asked him.", Kongpob voices out and Forth rolls his eyes. He can easily say that Kongpob is lying plainly.

" Why??"

Andrew and Anurak are just watching the interaction between both officers. Beam walks up to them, a bag doing across his shoulders. He is in his night clothes as he was sleeping when the call came and he rushed out, not worrying to change.

" I was going to crash at his place as it is much nearer to Andrew's apartment. Half way to Andrew, I found that my motorbike didn't have sufficient fuel to come back. Thus, I called him to pick me up from officer Daslyn apartment.", Forth huffs in frustration knowing that his brother in law is point blank lying to save the kid.
