That night...
"If you didn't go on your little drama queen, over dramatic ass-"
"Shut up", Jada said.
"You shut up!", Adrienne shouted. "You know what I am glad you're leaving because all of this is your fault"
King told her the same thing so his words replayed in her head.
"I guess it's a good things I'm moving in with my dad", Jada said.
"I guess so", Adrienne said before she walked out of the Jada's room.
Jada looked down and sat on the floor as she continued to pack her things up.
Adrienne started to go downstairs but heard Dre and Aaliyah arguing.
"We are not going back to how things used to be Andre. You're not about to turn back into that heartless dude", Aaliyah said.
"Don't tell me that shit when you have a bottle in your hand", Dre said. "Get yo drunk ass out of face"
"First of all im not drunk. I was about to pour some in a cup until you walked in. I only had one cup today, because my sister was here to help me come to my senses", Aaliyah said.
"You're a grown ass woman. Nobody should have to do that shit. You know better", Dre said.
"Yea I do...but I also have a problem and you know that so sometimes I do need guidance and I would think that, that would come from you. But instead you're pushing me away", Aaliyah said.
"I can leave again if we are going to argue", Dre said.
"You're unbelievable", Aaliyah said as she walked to the kitchen.
Dre followed.
"Whats up believable is that this shit could've been prevented", Dre said.
"You're going to blame this on me again??", Aaliyah asked.
"If you weren't drinking and texting another nigga, our daughter would probably be here", Dre said.
"You know what...let's switch this up. I'm not going to walk out, I'm going to stay here. But you? You can leave", Aaliyah said.
"This is my house, I pay the bills around here. I work around here", Dre said.
"Only because you didn't want me to", Aaliyah said. "...besides, what's yours is mine"
"No if I divorce your ass", he mumbled as he walked out of the kitchen.
"What did you just say?", Aaliyah asked.
Dre ignored her and walked out.
Aaliyah shook her head, she couldn't believe he just said that. She turned around to walk back to the kitchen when she saw Adrienne.
"...how much of that did you hear?", Aaliyah asked.
"Enough", Adrienne said. "...you know growing up I always like the relationship that you and dad had and now that I'm older, that's how I want my relationship with someone to be. You guys are perfect and right now you're letting Andrea bring missing get in the way of that", Adrienne said.
