Aaliyah was folding clothes as she was on the phone with Carmen.

"No, Carmen this dude is crazy", Aaliyah said.

"Crazier than Dre?", Carmen asked.

"Nah. Dre was normal crazy", Aaliyah said. "Crazier than Killa"

"Mm. That's crazy then", Carmen said.

Aaliyah didn't tell Carmen about the bomb that XL put inside of her yet.

"And the thing is..he said something about the female that Dre knows", Aaliyah said as she sat down. "She's supposedly very important to him apparently"

"So this girl is helping him?", Carmen asked.

"The way it sounded was like it was by force", Aaliyah said.

"And you have no idea who she could be? Why don't you just ask Dre?", Carmen asked.

"Because he told me not to call him unless there was an emergency", Aaliyah said. "Just so XL knows that this divorce is serious"

"...You said XL said something about Andre? And how he died?", Carmen asked.

"And the only people who know that, is the only people who were there and Kevin. I was thinking Kevin at first but XL said she and well that marked Kevin off the list", Aaliyah said. "And you didn't tell him and Jada was a baby so she doesn't even remember and Nae is...gone"

"...how do you know she's gone?", Carmen asked.

"One night...Dre came home and I could tell he did something that he didn't wanna do. He eventually told me that he killed Nae", Aaliyah replied.

"So no funeral?", Carmen asked.

"I don't know. I was paralyzed...I wasn't thinking about anything but getting my senses back into my legs and my ability to walk", Aaliyah said.

"I'll have Killa look her up", Carmen said.

"Carmen, Nae is gone. Okay? Dre wouldn't lie to me about that", Aaliyah said.

"Okay. Alright. You're right", Carmen said.

Aaliyah sighed.

"I just hope who ever this person is...I just hope he isn't having an affair", Aaliyah said.

"I can't speak on that but ... I hope he isn't either", Carmen said.

Aaliyah looked at the time.

"I have to go pick Adrienne up. I'll call you back", Aaliyah said.

"How are the twins anyway?", Carmen asked.

"They're fine. Andrea...she has a lot on her mind and on her plate but she's trying to get through it", Aaliyah said.

"Well at least she's trying and that's all that matters", Carmen said. "I still think you should take her to see someone. Like a therapist"

"I asked her about it but she doesn't want to. And if she's not ready to do that then it won't work for her", Aaliyah said.

"True", Carmen said.

"But I gotta go", Aaliyah said as she walked out of the room to go to Andrea's room. Aaliyah didn't see Andrea.

"Okay. Talk to you later. Call me if you need me", Carmen said.

"Will do", Aaliyah said as she walked to the bathroom that was in the hallway but nobody was in there.

Aaliyah hung up the phone and walked downstairs.

"Andrea?", Aaliyah called.

"Yes?", Andrea answered.

Aaliyah walked into the living and saw Andrea on the couch.

"You ready to go pick up your sister? I was think about eating out tonight", Aaliyah said.

"We usually eat out as a family", Andrea said as she got up. "Why isn't dad back?"

"He's busy okay?", Aaliyah replied. "Let's just go before we are late"

Aaliyah opened the door and saw a person limping toward the house.

"Andrea stay in here", Aaliyah said.

"Who is that?", Andrea asked.

"I don't know", Aaliyah said as she walked closer.

The person looked up and her face was severely bruised. She was barely recognizable.

"Where's Dre?", she asked.

Aaliyah continued to stare at her. She was trying to figure out who she was.

"Aaliyah where is Dre!?", she asked again.

"Nae?", Aaliyah asked.

"I know. You thought that he killed me but he didn't. He shot me, but he made sure an ambulance was on the way first. I was acting crazy and he brought me back to reality", Nae said. "Now, where is he?"

Aaliyah looked around then back at Nae.

"You need to go", Aaliyah said. "Leave and do not come back to my house again"

"Aaliyah, I'm sorry about the past okay? But now this is serious", Nae said.

"No. What's serious is that you tried to harm my daughter, my sister, my husband and you temporarily paralyzed me", Aaliyah said. "You need to leave now or I will call the police"

"I just told you that I was in a dark moment okay? Dre brought me back to reality. I don't wanna hurt anybody. As you can see I'm the only who has been beaten up and tortured for weeks", Nae said.

"And you just mysteriously got out?", Aaliyah asked.

"I finally got away. He just doesn't know yet", Nae said. "This isn't a set up, if that's what you're thinking"

Aaliyah looked at her for a moment.

"I don't like you. I don't give a fuck about what happens to you. Just stay away from me and my family", Aaliyah said before she started walking back to the house.

"I'll just see if he answers the last number he called me from", Nae said. "If I even get back to my house and find my phone. Or better yet, not evicted"

Aaliyah looked back at Nae as she walked to the house.

Nae started limping away.

Aaliyah starred thinking about how long ago was he even in contact with her.

"Come on Andrea. Let's go and don't worry about who that was. She nobody", Aaliyah said.

"She looked hurt", Andrea said.

"Just get in the car, okay?", Aaliyah asked.

Andrea walked out of the house and to the car.

Aaliyah locked the door and got into the car too.
