We Are The Cursed Children (Harry Potter Self-Insert Fic because why tf not?)

Uh Oh...

CJ was humming to herself, heading to her next class.

She had her wand out, practicing motions for spells as she walked through the halls. She was trying to get to her last class of the day.

The halls were crowded, bustling with students. Unfortunately, CJ was lost in the sea of kids. Usually, she would be panicking right about now. Being lost, especially since she was tiny compared to most people, CJ felt weird traveling alone in crowds. She was so used to following her taller friends, they were like trucks that paved the way for her.

But since she technically was a "new kid" at a new school, she had an excuse to be late.

CJ felt a buzz in her pocket. Taking out her phone, she saw Sam had texted the groupchat.

Quickly, CJ checked what was going on.

The Americrew Groupchat:

angelBOTTOM: Do any of you guys have a bandaid?

Sugar Mommy: Uh, yeh.

Sugar Mommy: Why?

angelBOTTOM: I accidentally cut my finger in Potions

Sugar Mommy: ...

Sugar Mommy: And you didn't ask Prof. Orion?

angelBOTTOM: I was too nervous

Sugar Mommy: Well shit I'm already in class

chickenrat: I think Annika might have some, I'm walking with her right now.

chickenrat: She said she has some.

angelBOTTOM: Pleassse my finger is bleeding

chickenrat: We'll meet you on the way to the Great Hall UwU

angelBOTTOM: Thank you!

CJ saw that Francis was typing but didn't get the chance to read, having collided into someone.

"Oof-" She stumbled back, her face getting red with embarrassment. Her book and papers fell out of her hands, tumbling to the ground below. Hogwarts really needs to let them use bags. Muttering an apology, CJ knelt down to collect her things.

The person she bumped into bent down as well, quickly helping her. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you."

CJ looked up when the person was handing her one of the books she dropped.

"Oh, Luiz!" She smiled, grateful that fate let her off the hook this time. At least she bumped into someone she knew.

Luiz frowned at her, then he formed a look of realization upon remembering why CJ had recognized him. But that realization quickly turned bitter upon realize... it was CJ. "Oh, you."

CJ was startled, nearly tumbling back at his tone of voice. Did she do something?

Luiz scowled, "Because of you Deo won't stop bothering me." He dropped her book, standing up to tower over CJ. Normally, CJ would meekly look away and try to walk away. But then she remembered how befuddled Deo was about Luiz.

CJ worked up all courage she had, and seeing that if she didn't speed things up she'll be late for class, CJ bluntly said, "Deo just wants to be your friend."

When Luiz's eyes widened, surprised at the response, CJ took this moment to slip into the crowd of students and runoff. Her heart pounded with every step she took, she couldn't believe she did that! CJ was most definitely going to tell her friends about this.
