REASON 08 || Love is a game to him ||

Fai grabs her vanilla muffin. She had been wanting to eat it for a long time now but since she had to tell her friend so much stuff, she was not able to take her first bite. The brunette lifts the muffin to her mouth, ready to take a bite. "So, you gave him a plant?" Amy asks with a raised eyebrow. A deep sigh leaves Fai her mouth, did she really have to ask that at the very moment she wanted to enjoy her muffin. "Yeah, turns out he actually really likes plants."

"Who would have thought that a guy like him would be interested in plants?" Amy cannot help but laugh a little at the idea. It seems a little weird that a bad boy like him, or whatever Fai called him, is interested in something like houseplants. "Well, it kind of explains his tattoos. Almost all of them are plants or flowers or have something to do with them." Fai mumbles before finally taking the first bite of her muffin. "But what did P'Frong do? He warned you to stay away from him yet the two of you kept talking, you even gave him some 'plant-advise'." Amy folds her arms, she knows Fai is keeping crucial information behind. "I told my brother I was just helping our customer, but you know Frong. Ever since that day he has been suspicious of me." Fai sighs again, she hates the fact that her brother does not trust her anymore. He used to be the sweetest older brother she could wish for. But he changed since P'King is in the picture. "He is really acting as if I can't take care of myself, but I'm an adult now. I know what I'm doing."
"You're an adult, yet you're denying you are in love with P'King." Amy says with a grin, making her friend angry again. "Amy, how many times do I need to tell you; I don't love him." Fai growls, rolling her eyes. "I already told you seven reasons, but you still don't seem to believe me."

"That's because six of the seven reasons are rubbish. Why don't you tell me the next one? It's time for number eight." Amy finishes the last bit of her drink, clearly enjoying the story thus far. "What? 'Six reasons are rubbish'." Fai can't believe what she is hearing, she has done nothing except for pleasing her friend with stories she doesn't even want to tell, and this is what she gets in return; her reasons being criticized because Amy thinks they are not legit enough.
"Fai, you're not going to tell me the first six reasons made sense to you. I know you better than this, you will not judge a person because of his looks. Maybe when you see him for the first time, but once you get to know a person you don't care about the looks anymore." Amy says, looking her friend in the eyes. "And I can still remember that one time you told me you thought tattoos are actually pretty hot on guys." Fai her eyes widen, she did not think Amy would actually remember that. "Amy, I was a little drunk when I said that. I didn't know what I was saying." Fai pouts. "Fai, if there is one thing I learned about you in the past few years then it would be that you always speak the truth when you're drunk. You know this as well, that's why you never drink more than one or two glasses when you go out with friends." Amy says, making Fai her cheeks turn slightly red. "I hate that you know me so well." Fai mumbles, looking at the wooden table she is sitting at.

"I want to know what happened after P'King bought a plant. Did he come back to buy more?" Amy asks, trying to get her friend to tell her more. "Amy, can't I first eat my muffin in peace? This thing is delicious, yet I couldn't take more than one bite because you keep on asking me stuff." Fai seems to be a little irritated, Amy is too excited to let her friend eat. "Tell me one more reason, then I'll let you eat in peace. Promise!" Fai knows she has no choice, it is the best way to quickly tell her friend another reason so that she can finally enjoy her muffin. But what is the next reason?

Her memories go back to the first time she saw him after he bought the plant. It was the same day actually, that night she went out for a drink with her friends. And miraculously P'King and his friends went to the same place they went. "Okay, but part of this story will be based on what Yuri, Ohm and Noh told me. I can't remember everything that happened that night." Fai scratches the back of her head. "Reason eight, and I promise you this one isn't rubbish." A remark which makes Amy laugh. "Tell me."
"I shouldn't love him, because love is a game to him. He will just toy with my feelings and break my heart once I fall for him."
