Fai her eyes follow the boy who puts the two cups of coffee on their table. "Enjoy." he says with a smile before leaving the two girls alone again. "You should stop caring about what others think about the two of you being together. If he likes you and you like him then that is enough reason for you two to be together. You deserve to be loved, Fai. It's time for you to stop hiding and start living." Amy looks at her friend with a serious look. "I mean it." she adds before wrapping her hands around the warm cup of coffee. The aromatic smell of the coffee fills her nostrils, making her lips curl up in a faint smile.
"It's not like I am hiding or anything, I'm just... I don't know, I think I am just not ready yet." Fai mumbles, softly blowing in her cup. "Not ready for what?" Amy frowns, the girl opposite of her lifts her shoulder. "A relationship I guess... Love." the brunette looks down, not sure if she meant what she just said. "It's not that you are not ready for love, you just can't accept the fact that you like someone like P'King. And above that, you can't accept that he truly likes you."

A deep sigh leaves Fai her lips. "Here you go again, you're acting like you know him, but you have never met him before." Amy cannot help but laugh a little. "Okay Fai, I thought you'd know me by now. I did some research, when I saw that picture of the two of you Mork was with me. King is actually someone he knows, so I asked Mork a few things about him." Amy explains, making Fai her mouth drop. "And I called Yuri to ask her a few things as well. I think Yuri also knows you like him, she seemed to be shipping the two of you."

Fai puts her face in her hands. "I can't believe you actually did that." she mumbles before looking up again. "But wait, Mork knows King? How?"

Amy wiggles her eyebrows. "Now I got your attention." She smirks, making Fai regret she even asked the question. "He knows him from school, I believe they even used to be friends, but they grew apart when they got older. But comparing your stories to those of Mork, I can tell he did not change that much. He has a good heart, Fai." The brunette does not seem to be completely convinced. "Then tell me another reason why you shouldn't love him." Amy carefully takes a sip of her coffee. "I will, I will." Fai bites her lip, trying to think of another reason. "Did I already tell you he annoys me, h-" "That was reason number five, tell me something new. Something you didn't tell me yet." Amy puts her cup of coffee back on the table before folding her hands together. "You said you had like a hundred reasons, there are still 87 reasons left."

"Yeah I know, I just need to think for a little." Fai bites her lips, thinking about another reason. When they started talking it seemed so easy, but why is it so hard now? "Why can't I think of anything? There must be another reason." Fai mumbles to herself, trying to figure out something else that she does not like about King. "If it is really that hard to think of why you do not like him, then maybe try to think of something you do like about him. If you can think of more than thirteen reasons why you love him, then you really have to give him a chance." Amy says, a smile creeping up on her lips. "And what if I can't?" Fai frowns, it was already hard to think of thirteen reasons why she does not love him. "Then I will let this subject go and accept the fact that you don't have any interest in him." Amy puts her hands together. "But no cheating, you have to be honest about the reasons and tell me everything." She gives her best friend a stern look. The brunette nods. "I will, don't worry." Fai runs a hand through her long hair, a slight smile on her lips. "Okay, tell me number one. Reason one of why you do love him."

"Well... He does know how to make me laugh again when I am feeling down. I guess that's a good thing, right?" Fai carefully takes a sip of her coffee. "That's great! He makes you laugh when you are feeling down. Tell me more about it." Amy sits up a little more straight, ready for yet another part of the story. "Well, you know how my mom has been having some health issues for a couple of years, right?" Fai asks, biting her lip. "A couple of months she started feeling really bad, she went to the hospital, but the doctors didn't have a clue about what was wrong. I was really worried about her."

---
Fai her thoughts seem to be on a different planet. Her mind keeps wandering off, no matter how hard she is trying to focus on what she is doing. A deep sigh leaves her lips.

"What are you sighing for?" The familiar voice of King asks, he puts the tray with his lunch on it on the table before sitting down opposite of the freshman. Fai looks at him, a fierce look in her eyes. "You seem to be a little irritated." King says, noticing something is wrong with the girl. "I'm not." she says, again a deep sigh. "Then what is wrong? You're clearly bothered about something." The dark-haired examines the girl in front of him, he can feel something is off. Fai does not answer him, something King expected already. It must be something very personal, something she does not want to share with just everyone. "It's okay you don't have to tell me." King grabs his chopsticks and starts eating his lunch. "You better get started too, before your lunch gets cold." he says, pointing at the untouched plate of food in front of Fai. "Is that khao kha mu?" the boy raises an eyebrow, a question he already knows the answer to, yet he wanted to ask it. "It is." Fai answers, she grabs her chopsticks and pokes in her food. "I'm actually not in the mood for pork." she adds, referring to the meat that mixed with her rice. It looked delicious when she ordered it earlier, but all her appetite seems to be gone. "Do you know what they call a pig that does karate?" King suddenly asks. A random question that makes Fai frown even more. She shakes her head, letting him know that she does not know what he is talking about. "A pork chop." King says, a grin on his face. Fai bites her lip, trying to hold back her smile. It is one of the lamest jokes she has ever heard, yet she cannot help but laugh. "Then let me ask you, why did the banana go to the doctor?" King puts his chopsticks down, fully focused on the girl opposite of him. Fai lifts her shoulder, again she has no idea. "Because he didn't peel well!" Fai giggles, covering her mouth with her hand in an attempt to hide her smile. "That's the lamest joke ever." she says, making King his eyes light up a little. He loves to see her smile like that. "I know, it's bad. Do you maybe want to hear a construction joke?" the senior raises an eyebrow. Fai nods. "Go ahead."

"Oh never mind, I'm still working on that one." again Fai starts laughing, this time she is not even trying to hide behind her hands but she just laughs out loud, showing P'King her beautiful smile once again. "Okay promise me you will never tell these bad jokes ever again." Fai says, still laughing a little. "They seem to be working though." King grabs his chopsticks again, taking a bite of his lunch. Fai looks at the boy in front of her, a soft smile resting on her lips. "Thank you P'King." she suddenly says, making the older one look up in confusion. "What for?" he asks, his mouth full with food. "Thanks for not asking and keeping me company." Fai grabs her glass of water from the table and takes a sip. "Also thank you for making me laugh again. I really needed it." she adds.King shakes his head a little. "No need to thank me, I love seeing you smile. It's the least I could do after bothering you for the past few weeks." Fai smiles. "You haven't been bothering me P, not at all."
