"Wait a second." Amy gasps. "What did you show him?" her eyes are wide open, she never thought her friend would do something like that. "I took him to a different movie; it was a romantic comedy. We enjoyed it a lot, I think I opened up a new path for him." Fai says while smiling brightly. Amy takes a sigh of relief. "Oh my gosh, I thought yo-" the dark-haired stops in the middle of her sentence, it better not to finish that. "Amy, what else did you think I would show him?" Fai frowns, her friend is acting weird all of a sudden. It takes the brunette only a couple of seconds before she realizes what her friend was thinking about. "No way! You did not possibly think I would do something like that!" Fai her mouth drops, how can that idea even pop up in Amy her thoughts. "Hey, it's not my fault, you do weird stuff when you get desperate." Amy innocently puts her hands in the air. "I do not do weird stuff and I wasn't even desperate or anything like that!" Fai says, trying to protect herself. "I just wanted to show him that I can have a little fun too. It's not like I only listen to what my parents and older brother tell me to do, I do have my own opinion and plans."
"Well, I have to say, you can be very stubborn sometimes." Amy says while nodding her head. "But you also tempt to only think about your school and pleasing your parents. It is not wrong to do something for yourself once. Something you really want to do." she adds. Fai thinks about it for a short moment, she looks down and sees she still hadn't had the time to finish eating her muffin. "If you don't mind, I'll take some time to eat this now." The brunette sends her friend a smile before taking a bite of the delicious muffin. "Okay, yeah I will allow you to eat from now on, but why don't you tell me more in the meantime?" Amy smiles, she had already finished both her coffee and muffin and is ready to hear another reason. "Can't you just let me eat?" Fai asks, a deep sigh leaves her lips. "Ah come on! Don't be so grumpy, you can just eat while talking to me, it's okay to take a little break while you're telling me reason eleven." Amy folds her hands together, the sweetest smile on her lips. "I don't even know why I have to tell you all of this." Fai rolls her eyes, it is not like she owes her friend anything. Why is she obliged to tell her friend?
"Fai, it's all your fault. You started telling me the first reason and now I need to know the rest of the story." Amy explains, but she seems to completely forget about the part where she almost forced Fai to tell her something about the mysterious senior. "You started it, so you have to take responsibility now." Amy adds while wiggling her eyebrows up and down. She knows damn well it is all because of herself, she is just trying to persuade her friend to tell her more.
"That's it!" Fai mumbles, making her friend look up at her in surprise. "What do you mean?" the dark-haired is confused, what is her friend talking about now? "That's reason eleven." Fai says. Amy frowns. "I thought you said you already had a list with reasons, why do I feel like you just came up with this one?"
"Do you want to hear more of the story or not?" Fai crosses her arms; she is now in the dominant position and she is going to take advantage of that as long as she can. "Yes, I do! Tell me more please." Amy pouts, trying to look as cute as possible to convince her friend to tell her more. "I thought so." Fai grins, she takes a bite of her muffin. "Okay, the next reason why I shouldn't love P'King is that he is very impulsive, to the point where it is no longer responsible anymore."---
Fai looks up from her textbook. "I think we should take it to the next level. If we really want to impress our teacher, we should come up with a different perspective. Everyone will take the easy road and take the perspective that was explained in class, I think we should do something different." she says, the two girls who are on the same project group as her nod. "But what?" one of them asks, a frown on her face. Fai puts her elbows on the table and lets her face rest on her hands. "Let me think for a second." she mumbles. She knew exactly what was wrong with their previous approach, but she could not think of anything different. "Maybe..." one of the girls in front of her says, her voice soft and full of doubt. "Maybe I have something." a small smile appears on her face, her eyes seem to light up. "You do? That is great Karina, tell us about it." Fai puts her full attention on the girl. At first Fai did not even know Karina was in the same class as her, she was always so silent and hid herself in the back of the class. She first met her when they started working on a project together, Fai always thought about herself that she was an introverted person but after meeting Karina she realized there are people who are even more shy. "Well... I-" the dark-haired stops in the middle of her sentence, her eyes grow wide. Karina starts breathing more heavily than before, as if she is scared of something. "Are you okay?" Jeed asks, putting a hand on the shoulder of the next to her. Karina whispers something Fai cannot hear; it is definitely only meant for Jeed to hear. "Girls, what's going on?" Fai raises an eyebrow, she is very confused now. "Uhm, we should continue with this tomorrow." Jeed says while standing up, Karina nods and starts packing her stuff. "We don't want to disturb your date with your boyfriend." Jeed says, she grabs Karina her wrist and pulls her with her. "Wait, where are you going? What are you talking about?" Fai is even more confused than she already was. Her boyfriend? "I have seriously been single all my life, what are they talking about?" Fai asks herself out loud. She really wanted to finish this thing today, she will be busy from tomorrow on and it would have been nice if she did not have to work on this project anymore."So, you have never been in a relationship before, that's interesting to know." a familiar voice from behind Fai says, the taller boy takes place next to her. King looks at the girl, the same grin on his face as always. "Ah that's why they ran away so fast." Fai thinks to herself, she could have known it was him. Karina once asked Fai if she was really dating P'King, apparently a lot of students think they are a thing. Fai denied all the rumors, but it turns out no one actually believes her.
Fai sighs, with an annoyed look she looks at the boy sitting next to her. "P'King, what do you want? Don't you have class or anything?" The brunette notices a small wound on King's face, his cheeks are a little swollen as well. "Did you get in a fight again?" she asks before he can answer the first questions she asked him. The senior laughs a little while running a hand through his hair. "It was nothing, just a small argument with some seniors from another faculty." King answers. "And to answer your first question: I'm here because I wanted to see you." an answer that somehow melts Fai her heart, no matter how much she wants to deny it. "The answer to your second question: I do have a class at this moment." Fai her mouth drops. "Did you just skip your class to see me?" she asks in disbelief. "Yeah, that's exactly what I just told you." King grins, how can someone like her be so goddamn adorable? "I can't believe you actually did that! How can you do something so irresponsible? Do you parents know you do these kinds of things?" Fai asks, to her this is quite a big thing.
---"Okay, hold up." Amy says, interrupting the story of her friend. "Why did you overreact like that? It is not like no one else skips classes. People do that all the time." the dark-haired doesn't understand the problem. "Well, not me. I have never skipped a class in my entire life, you're not supposed to mess around like that when you're in school." Fai crosses her arms. "I can't believe you just said that." Amy starts laughing. "You're too pure, I'm telling you." she adds. "Is that a compliment or not?" Fai raises an eyebrow. "Take it the way you want, just continue the story for now." Amy says, pretending like she did not say anything just now. Fai sighs deep before continuing the story.
---
"My parents? Of course, they know, but what is the problem? I'm the best student of my year, as long as my grades are fine my parents will let me do anything I want." King answers, he does not seem to get what the problem is. "Show off..." Fai mumbles, rolling her eyes. "Oi! That hurts, aren't you at least a little bit flustered that I came all the way here just to see you?" King crosses his arms, still that annoyingly adorable grin on his face. "No I am not, I don't want to be the reason for your 'bad boy behavior'. How can you be so irresponsible and skip classes like that?" Fai has a slight pout on her lips, she really sounds like she is dating P'King. "Okay, okay. Next time I will wait until class is over. That's a promise." King sticks out his little finger. "Pinky promise?" he raises an eyebrow. Fai sighs deep, reluctantly she hooks her little finger around King's. "Pinky promise."
