Fai pushes her chair back, ready to stand up. "I finished my coffee, I should go." she says, making Amy pout. "You told me you would tell me everything before you had to leave!" Amy says, she is too addicted to the story, she needs to know how it ends. Did King and Fai end up as a couple? Did something happen between them that broke them apart? She needs to know every single thing that happened until this very moment. Amy looks at the clock on the wall above the bar. She sees it is only ten to four. "We still have a lot of time left; you can tell me one more reason, right? Please tell me a little more, I really need to know how it continues." Amy begs, trying her best to make her friend stay for a little longer. "I really need to know how it ends." she says once again. Fai sighs. "I guess I can just go like this, I won't have to stop by my house to change my clothes." she mumbles, thinking of how she can make some more time for her friend. "Okay, I will tell you a little more, but that will be the last one, I really have to leave on time." Fai pulls her chair a little closer to the table again, putting her elbows on the wooden surface. "You still remember I told you my mom needed to get a surgery, right?" Fai asks, making her friend nod. "Well back then it was pretty scary, the doctors still weren't sure if they diagnosed her right and the chance of survival for the surgery was pretty small." Fai explains, thinking back about that time she feels the tears coming up already. She was scared she would lose her mom; her mom practically gave up on life already even though she did not say it out loud. Fai could tell by the look in her eyes. "What does this have to do with King though?" Amy asks, trying to connect it to the stories Fai told her so far. "I was scared and really sad. You just left for your holiday with Mork and I had no one to talk to. I did not want to burden Yuri or the boys with it because honestly, they still do not know my mom was even sick in the first place. And it is not that I do not want or do not dare to tell them, I just don't want them to worry about me." Fai explains. "P'King was the only one I could turn to. The only one who knew something was wrong and I feel like he was the only one who could comfort me back then." she adds.
"I'm so sorry for not being there when you needed me. If I had known I would not have left with Mork, I would have stayed by your side." Fai smiles at her friend. "That is why I did not tell you anything, so you could enjoy your trip with your boyfriend. Amy you guys are the cutest couple ever and you looked forward to the trip, of course I wasn't going to ruin that for you." the brunette runs a hand through her hair. "It's okay, really. King was there for me when I needed someone. And let me tell you, he gives the best hugs." Both girls smile again. "So that's the next reason? He is good at giving hugs?" Amy frowns. "Let's make it a little more general. I mean, his hugs are the best, but he is just so good at comforting me in another way. He always knows what to say." The brunette has a dreamy look in her eyes again, the look of someone in love, if you ask her best friend. "He is just always there for me when I need him. And I don't think I have thanked him enough for it yet."

A deep sigh leaves Frong his lips, his eyes focused on his little sister who enters the flower shop. "What's wrong?" the brunette asks, she can feel the tension in the shop. "Frong, if you think I hung out with h-" "Mom needs to get surgery." Frong says, interrupting the younger girl. Fai her mouth drops. "A surgery? Did they find out what is wrong then?" Fai walks over to her brother, dropping her school bag on the ground. Frong shakes his head. "They think they do, but they are not sure." he answers. Fai does not say anything, what is that supposed to mean? "How can they do a surgery if they don't even know what it is for?" she does not understand it at all, doctors are not supposed to do thing like that. "Well, they hope to find out what exactly is wrong during the surgery. But the chances of survival are very low." Frong explains. "Mom's not going to do it, is she?" Fai asks, a faint smile on her lips. "She is crazy if she is going to do it."Frong looks at her with a pair of serious eyes. "She is." he then says, making Fai her mouth drop once again. "W-what? S-she is?" The brunette cannot seem to believe her mom is going to take such a big risk. "At this point mom feels like surgery is the best option. You might not know but she has been in a lot of pain the past few weeks, the painkillers don't work anymore." Frong gets from behind the counter and pulls his little sister for a hug. "There must be another way, a more saver way." Fai pouts, trying to hold back her tears. She loves her mom a lot, the idea of losing her makes Fai scared. It freaks her out. "Fai, you have to trust the doctors. They know what they are doing." Frong pets the brunette on her head, giving her a reassuring smile. "Yeah sure, you just said they still don't know what is wrong." Fai releases herself from the older one his embrace. "Fai, where are you going?" Frong asks when the brunette grabs her bag and heads out of the store again. "I will be home late, don't wait for me." Fai says without answering her brother, she runs out before he can catch her.

King watches her carefully, making sure to notice every move the brunette is making. But he does not say anything. Fai sits down on the little couch in King his flower cottage. The flowers and plants make her feel at ease immediately, but the moment she sits down she remembers the conversation she had with her older brother earlier. "I'm so sorry for barging in like this." Fai mumbles, her voice a little hoarse from the crying she did on her way to here. She wanted to hold them in, but she could not hold back any longer. Fai is both scared and really confused, she has no clue of what to do.
"Hey don't worry about that, I told you you could come over whenever you wanted to." King says with a reassuring smile, he walks over to Fai and sits down next to her. "This place helped me a lot during the divorce of my parents. I was sad, angry and most of all lonely. I didn't want to bother my friends with it and I obviously couldn't talk about it with my parents." King starts talking, making Fai look up at him with two big eyes. "I came here whenever I couldn't stand being with my parents, they fought a lot back then. I started decorating this place with all sorts of flowers taking care of them and even growing them myself. It calmed me down and I was able to sort out my mind and feelings." he continues, his gaze focused on the beautiful pink flowers in front of him."That must have been really hard for you." Fai mumbles, feeling sad for the older boy. She cannot imagine how it feels like to have parents who are constantly fighting and then suddenly decide to end their marriage. It is always the hardest on the kids. "It was, but I'm over it now. I know my parents are better off now and I still love both of them a lot." King turns his face to look at the brunette. "But you're not here to listen to my story." Fai bites her lip. She wants to tell him the whole story, but somehow, she cannot bring herself to actually say anything. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything. Take your time." the dark-haired puts his arm around Fai her shoulder and pulls her closer to him. A little smile creeps up Fai her lips, letting her head rest on the older one his chest.
"About two months ago my mom started to feel pain in her chest, at first it wasn't that bad and she didn't think much about it. But even after a couple of days the pain did not fade, it became worse and worse. She also started to feel tired and weak. She went to the hospital, but they couldn't find out what was wrong, they took an X-ray but still couldn't really find out what is wrong." Fai takes a deep breath, feeling a single tear rolling down her cheek. "It just doesn't make any sense, why would they perform surgery on her if they don't even know what is wrong?" her voice is broken, she cannot hold back the tears anymore. Talking about it makes her body start shaking. "What if she dies?" the words as soft as a whisper, Fai her worst nightmare. "Fai." King makes the younger girl look at him. "Your mother is a strong woman; I can tell by the way how she raised you and your brother." he wipes away the brunette her tears. "You should trust her, everything will turn out okay. I know that it is easy to say for someone who is just watching from the sidelines, but I truly believe it will all be okay. Have a little faith."
Fai takes a deep breath, biting her lip softly. "Do you really think so?" she asks. King nods with a confident smile on his lips. "I know so." the older boy wraps his arm around the girl, pulling her closer. "All we can do is pray for your mother and wait for the surgery to be over."
Fai wraps her arms around King his waist, clinging onto him even more. "Thank you for being there for me. You always know how to make me feel better."
