Aimi POV:
I met up with Shinso at the train station. I had on a white skirt with a purple sweater and matching purple shoes. Shinso walked up to me and he had on a black dress shirt and black jeans.
"Sorry you're families kinda rich and I didn't know what to wear," he told me.
"Oh my god you look fine stop it, my moms gonna love you, you big softy," I said, punching his arm lightly as we started our walk to my house. His breathing got heavy when I was about to open the door.
"You okay Shino?"
"Yeah, just nervous? Idk i've never had friends so i've never had to meet anyone's parents other than my own," he confessed. My chest kinda hurt again when he said that. He's got a past and he doesn't wanna talk about it.
"It's gonna be okay, my dads away so you only have to deal with my mom. And it's not like youre my boyfriend or anything," I told him, opening the door. He nodded and walked in, taking off his shoes and following me.
"Momma, Im home and I brought you something!" I yelled, walking into the kitchen.
"Hi baby! What did you bring- oh! Who's this? your boyfriend?" she asked, quickly rushing up Shinso.
"No momma, this is my FRIEND, Shinso, the one that you make sweets for everyday, I hope its okay that I invited him over for dinner," I announced. A big grin appeared on her face.
"That's perfect! What do you like Shinso?" she asked, walking over to the bookshelf,
"Oh um, anything's fine really, but if you know how to make Sukiyaki I really like that," he told her, feeling quite bashful.
"Of course. You know, for all the sweets I make you, I wasn't expecting you to be so lean," she then stated, making a list of the things she would need for the dish. Shinso's face began to grow red.
"MOTHER!" I scolded.
"I need to go to the store, I trust you kids here alone, don't have too much fun without me" she teased, grabbing her things and leaving.
"Well your mom is-uh-" Shinso started, not sure how to finish his sentence
"Different, I know. I'm sorry I didn't think she'd act like this. We can go up to my room and relax if you want," I offered. He only nodded, his cheeks still dusted pink.
Once we made it up to my room, I threw myself onto my bed. Shinso stood awkwardly for a few seconds, before repeating my actions. We just laid there in a comfortable silence for awhile. I closed my eyes, letting the comfort of probably the only person I have seep into me. Catching me by surprise, I felt two arms wrap around me. I turned, making the position less awkward, and hugged him back.
"Shino, are you sure you're okay?" I asked him, pulling him closer to my chest.
"i've just never had anyone before. No one's ever given me my own lunch. No ones brought me to their house. No ones cooked food for me. No ones brought me to their room just to hang out. It's always just been me and Aizawa. So thank you for this. But if you tell anyone i'll fucking brainwash you," he vented. I didn't know how to react honestly, so I hugged him tighter. I held him as close as I could, afraid that if I let go, the dangers of the world would get him.
We stayed like that for while, just laying in each others embrace. I could have fallen asleep like that, if given the opportunity. He was so warm, and he smelled so good, it would be a shame when I had to let go. I was lost in thought when his raspy voice covered the silence in the room.
"Thank you Aimi, for being there for me," I just looked at him, not sure what to say. "and I really am sorry for skipping out on lunch the other day, I hate making girls cry."
"Its alright shin, no hard feelings," I laughed, poking his nose.
"Did- did you just "boop" me?" he glared at me, confused as to what just happened.
"Maybe," I shrugged, laughing even harder. Shinso removed his arms from my waist, turning his back to me. "Aww are you gonna pout like a baby?"
"Yes."
"Shin come on." no response. "Shinso." Nothing. "Hitoshi," he turned around. "Thank you,"
"I can't believe you fucking booped me. After I poured my heart out and everything," he whined, then flopping onto his back, hands tucked under his head, and staring at the ceiling. I had repeated his actions, only I laid a little closer to him, my head resting on his bicep.
"I really am sorry, do you want me to make it up to you?" I asked him, but he only stayed silent. He was quiet for a long time, and it was honestly kind of scary.
"Yeah, actually, I do want you to make it up to me," he then stated, causing me to look at him. "Win the sports festival and i'll forgive you,"
