Aimi POV:

It was now the day of the festival, and boy was I nervous. Shinso's words never left my head. 'win the sports festival and maybe ill forgive you'. He knew I didn't want to do the stupid thing, and now if I didn't want him to be mad at me I had to win? That seems quite impossible, but so did everything at UA.

I did my final stretches, making sure I had all 5 of my water bottles with me. Most of the time they don't allow things like that, but without them I wouldn't be able to make it, so they gave me a pass. I even had teachers pour the water into the bottles for extra measures. I took one final swig and hooked it onto my belt. The first challenge wasn't going to be easy, but if I was going to win, I had to find a way.

Almost right at the start, Todoroki from our class froze everyone and got a head start, Bakugo hot on his trail. I had to find some way out of this ice. While a sirens song is normally used to seduce people, I let out a very high note, letting the ice shatter around me. Once I was freed, I ran to catch up with those ahead of me.

Our first obstacle were robots. Big, scary robots. I overheard some people saying that they had to fight those in the entrance exams, and honestly, I think I would have passed out if I did that. Todoroki and Bakugo were right in front of me, Todoroki freezing the robots feet. I took my opportunity and ran around the frozen robots as the rest of the group was catching up. Todoroki yelled something to them all, and continued on his way. I could already feel my skin starting to dry up from the physical activity, but I didn't have time to stop for water, not now.

Next up, I had to cross tight ropes. I knew I would need as much energy as possible, so I took a big drink of water, and slowly began to balance myself. Todoroki was long ahead, Bakugo close to him. Those two had been neck and neck the whole time. I was about half way through when I had to take another drink of water. I finished the course, and made my way to the third and final obstacle.

Landmines. Here, slow and steady wins. This was quite perfect, honestly. A moment to catch my breath and catch up to the two goons, maybe even use my quirk. As I slowly began to walk on the sand, my steps as light as possible, I began to sing. This time, Bakugo stopped in his tracks but Todoroki kept going. That didn't stop me though, as I continued to sing my siren song, echoing my words louder and louder until both the boys were under my spell. They both turned and looked at me.

"I know you two are gonna let me win, it wouldn't be fair if you didn't," I told him, finally catching up to them, carefully walking past. Right as I was about to step out of the land field, we heard a loud boom and screams from behind, which snapped the boys out of my trance. We all turned and saw Midoriya flying through the air on a piece of metal he must have gotten from the robot. Scoffing, I turned around and started running, trying to make it to the field before anyone else.

'Win the sports festival' Shinso's words echoed through my head as my legs pushed me as hard and fast as they could. 'Maybe then i'll forgive you'. That was the little boost I needed. One final push, and I was the first to emerge from the dark archway, the three boys following close behind me. I heard my name being announced, but I collapsed, taking in as much air as a could.
