Shinso POV:
Leaving with Aizawa in the morning was nice because I didn't have to take a train or walk up that hill that UA sits on, but sometimes i really hated being here so early. Today was one of those days.
It's not her fault, but Aimi kept me up later than normal last night, and since i have to get up earlier than most im extremely tired. Its our last day of class before we have our internships, so while i can hope today won't be all action packed i know better. Unfortunately for everyone else, this means i'm in a rather bad mood. In hopes of getting even a few moments of extra sleep, i lay my head on the desk.
Luck is not on my side today, as the second my eyes close and i relax, the loudest girl I know has made her appearance. "Hey Shinso! Wake up sleepy head!" Aimi practically yelled, carelessly throwing her stuff down. I chose to ignore her, which was a bad idea because she did not let up. Soon, her fingers found their way to my face, and she began poking me like a child waking up their parent on christmas morning.
"Aimi please, let me sleep," I grumbled out. She hesitated for a moment, before continuing what she was doing, her movements getting more stern. I swung my arm out, grabbing her wrist. "Leave me alone." her eyes widened, her face coated with shock. After a few moments of staring at each other, I let her go and put my head back down. She mumbled out a quiet "sorry" and sat down, looking at her phone. I took a deep breath and tried to go back to sleep, but now my conscious was filled with guilt. I sat up and turned to face her, "Aimi, i'm so-"
"Dont. Its fine. I shouldn't have been bothering you," she interrupted, refusing to look at me. My heart sank. I shouldn't be letting my emotions get the best of me like that, there was no good reason for me to react that way.
"Beauty please, let me apologise."
"Shinso stop. I was in the wrong, leave it at that." she said, finally turning to look at me. Her face was impossible to read. I took another deep breath, and turned back to the front. I feel like i should press the matter, but i don't want to make her more upset.
As the morning went on, our lessons weren't too extreme. We had a project on hero analysis, but no actual physical assignments. This project was a group project, and I was paired with Hagakure. Aimi was paired with Mineta, who spent the whole time drooling over her. Hagakure and I finished early, our analysis on Mount Lady, and I went over to Aimi and Mineta.
"You're feeding into her huge ego by drooling over her, she knows she's gorgeous, no need to remind her," I said in Minetas ear, staring right at Aimi. Mineta froze up, his eyes turning to meet me.
"I- Uh- I wasn't- I-" Mineta mumbled. He had been caught, and he wasn't sure what to do. Usually when people called him out, it was at a distance. He didn't know what to do with me being so close to him.
"Apologise to her, and then help her with the project. Shes a person too, not just something for you to ogle at because she's pretty," I told him, standing upright. I winked at Aimi, and walked away. Could she have handled that herself? Sure, but she likes when people compliment her. She's been conditioned that way. I don't want to ruin her confidence, but Mineta is NOT the person to have complimenting you. If she wants compliments, I'll give them to her, not some bubble headed creep.
