Aimi POV:
I walked into the classroom for lunch like I normally did. It had become normal for Shinso and I to eat lunch in the classroom together. It's been about a month now since i've been trying to get my quirk to work on him and i've made zero progress. Im putting in extra training, even using a whole new training regimen, but I guess its not enough.
"You better have my sweets," Shinso grumbled, his head planted against the desktop.
"Of course I have your sweets, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't bring you sweets?" I teased, handing him the bento, which he quickly scooped out of my hand. "She tried something new today, so I need your honest feedback,"
Opening the bento, he looked at the jelly, and quickly took a bite. His face quickly showed satisfaction. "itsh sho gwood" he praised, his mouth still full.
"Its coffee jelly. She said she's never made it before, but I guess it's a family recipe or something," I explain with a shrug, taking a bite of my food.
"I seriously need to thank your mom for all the sweets. She's a fucking goddess," he said, taking another bite of the jelly. I just laughed. "What?"
"If you think I'm bad, my mother is 100 times worse, and she's not a siren," I told him. He just gave me a confused shrug as he continued to eat his jelly.
After lunch we waiting for Aizawa to come in and tell us what we were going to be doing. Shinso was playing on his phone while Denki and Kirishima tried flirting with me.
"Guys, im flattered, really, but no. You realize that I literally LURE men with my attraction and get them to do whatever I want, right?" I asked. I never realized the male gender was so dense.
"Prove it," Denki then dared. I didn't like where this was going, but I wasn't someone to just turn down a dare.
"How?" I asked, leaning back.
"Seduce Bakugo," he then said. My eyes widened. That's dangerous.
"Yeah I don't think that's smart. I don't really know him, it would be weird if I just went up to him and started talking to him," I lied, trying to find a way out of this.
"Tell him you need help with math, he's really good at that," Kirishima joined in. I sighed, already regretting what I was about to do. I stood up and walked over to his desk, where he was casually on instagram. Before I walked up to him I noticed he was looking at-my instagram? That's strange but okay? 'Just get this over with' I told myself.
"Hey Bakugo?" I asked sweetly, my blue eyes staring into his red ones.
"What extra?" he blurted, looking up.
"Do you think you could maybe help me with math? I'm not doing so well and i'd hate to fall behind," I asked, luring him in. He glared at me. It wasn't working. I quickly grabbed a strand of hair and twirled it around my finger, trying to make myself appear more attractive.
"Fine, whatever, just leave me alone," he mumbled, a blush forming on his cheeks. I sighed and cheered a little, walking back to my seat and sitting down.
"There, now leave me alone," I told the two boys, waving them off. They went back to their seats and Aizawa walked in.
"Today we are going to a training course off campus, so we have to take a bus. Lets go everyone," he said and we all walked out. We grabbed our hero costumes on the way, putting them on.
"Did you notice what happened ?" I asked, waiting for everyone to gather around the meeting area.
"When?" Shinso replied.
"When I was trying to use my quirk on bakugo, it almost didn't work," I told him, trying to figure out why. I took a big drink of water to hydrate myself, thinking of what could have happened.
"Yeah I saw, I don't know what happened though. Maybe you were dehydrated? No, you've been drinking a lot today. You ate your normal food, so that's not it. have you been sticking to your regimen?" he asked, to which you nodded, taking another big gulp of water. "That's weird, I really don't know. Maybe you're about to power up or something, or maybe because it was forced, that might have been it."
"Yeah that might have been it," I agreed. I really didn't want to use my quirk on Bakugo, so maybe that's why it didn't work. I'll ask Aizawa about it later.
The ride to the area was short, but boring. Once we got there and were about to start, bad guys appeared and we all got scattered. I got sent to the water zone with Midoriya, Tsu, and Mineta. Mineta quickly started to cry and panic, but Midoriya and Tsu came up with a plan.
"Okay well we have the upper hand here, because they panicked when they scattered us." I told the group.
"What do you mean?" Midoriya asked.
"She's right. If they wanted to win, they would have sent me and Aimi to the fire zone," Tsu explained. I only nodded. Midoriya's eyes widened and the plan became clear. We all huddled, and explained what we were going to do.
While the three of them stayed on that side of the boat, I went to the other side and began to sing. It's not my preferred method of using my quirk, but it works. A siren's song can attract multiple people at once, luring them right into her trap. Once most, if not all of the villains were looking for the beautiful song they were hearing, Midoriya created whirlpool and Mineta threw his balls? Whatever they are, he threw them into the water into a sense of panic. Tsu grabbed the two of them with her tongue, placing them somewhere safe, and soon enough I joined them, sitting in an area of the water that was calm, allowing it to surround me. Quickly, I felt not only reparashed, but I also felt stronger. Water was a big aspect of my quirk, and i'm not exactly sure what all I can do when completely submerged in it.
Soon, I joined the others, and realized why they were all still in the water. They were frozen in terror as they watched Aizawa's skull get shoved into the ground by some monster. I wasn't sure the limits to my quirk, but it wouldn't hurt to try, right?
I started singing again, this time, the water continuously giving me power. Every remaining villain turned to find the person behind the song. I had to find somewhere in the water to hide, quickly. Ducking behind a nearby rock, I finished the song, and everyone except the Nomu was surrounding me.
"Please leave us. We have nothing that you want, and you're ruining students education," I begged, trying to use to essence of my quirk on whoever it would work on. It seemed like I had a plan to literally anyone, but in reality, I was just buying time.
"You have all might, where is he?" a boy with teal hair asked. It was hard to miss the severed hands all over his body, but if I got distracted the charm would go away.
"I don't have him sir, and I don't know where he is. All I know is that i'm trying to learn and I really think you should go away," I pushed, I couldn't see him. I can't read his face with that stupid hand in the way.
"Not until All Might dies," he said, and walked away. everyone else followed him, and the charm broke. Crumbled. Every ounce of confidence I had was gone. Even surrounded by water, my quirk didn't work anymore.
