Aimi POV:

After the award ceremony, I met up with Shinso and my mother.

"Hey guys!" I greeted, showing off the gold medal around my neck.

"I guess I have to forgive you now," Shinso joked, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. A cheeky grin grew on my face. The three of us walked over to a bench and we talked about what we were going to do now. We decided on going out to eat, since I was starving.

"Can we go to that cat cafe over in Tokyo?" I asked, hoping maybe because I did well she would agree.

"Anything for my baby girl," a deep voice stated, making all three of us jump. I looked up and saw my father standing in front of us, holding out his arms.

"Father!" I cheered, jumping up and running into him, giving him a hug. He was the last person I thought would be here. "I thought you were away on business,"

"I made arrangements to come watch you, wouldn't want to miss the UA sports festival, especially when my little girl is in it," he stated, rubbing my hair. I frowned, but quickly turned in into a sad smiled, and turned back to Shinso and my mom.

"Dad, this is my friend Shinso, Shinso, this is my dad," I introduced them. I wasn't exactly ready for this moment but I didn't have a choice.

"It's a pleasure to meet you mr.Haru," Shinso greeted, holding his hand out.

"The pleasures all mine Shinso," my father exchanged, shaking the boys had firmly. "What are your intentions with my daughter?" Shinso's eyes widened and a light blush dusted his cheeks.

"N-none sir! We are just friends, that's all. We actually got close because of a project she's working on," he explained. My father looked at the purple haired boy with intrigue.

"Project?" he asked.

"Yes sir, she was assigned to find a way to make her quirk work on me, since I also have a psychological quirk," Shinso told him. He found the older man extremely intimidating, but he also knew that if he gave the man what he wanted, it could help him in the long run.

Shinso and my father talked a little bit longer, and then the four of us got in my fathers car and he drove us to the cafe I wanted to go to . As soon as the car was stopped, I rushed out and into the building to order my food. I took my tea and picked a table. Everyone else calmly made their way in and got their things, making their way over to me. By the time they sat down, I was already surrounded by cats.

"So you attract as many cats as you do boys," Shinso muttered to himself, but I still heard him and chuckled, petting a black and white cat that was laying on my lap.

"I don't have to use my quirk for it though, they just like me," I beamed, gently petting the black and white cat that was laying on my lap. Right after I said that, a grey cat jumped up in Shinso's hair. Giggling, I quickly took out my phone and took a picture.

The four of us the had small talk for the rest of lunch, my parents mostly focusing on me and Shinso's relationship. They both seem to think there's something going on between us, when in reality, we are just friends.

"I've told you, we are just friends. That's it," I convinced. I swear they are so hard headed sometimes.

"I'm gonna go to the restroom real fast, excuse me," Shinso said, excusing himself.

SHINSO'S POV:

God that table is so suffocating. I really like her mom, I do, she's a really sweet lady who makes amazing food, but she's so obsessed with the idea of us being more than just friends. Aimi is better than I thought, yeah i'll admit. But do I like her that way?

A blush rose on my cheeks as the thought popped into my head. No. No no no. I can't have feelings for her. She won't feel the same about me anyway, I just need to get rid of them as fast as I can, that what I need to do. Let me call Aizawa, he will know what to do.

AIMI POV:

"I don't like him that way, we are just really good friends," I sighed. I've been saying that for the past 20 minutes, yet every time I said it, I felt a ping in my heart. The more I said it, the less I believed it. There was no way he felt that way about me anyway, so it didn't matter. Shinso only hangs out with me because of the stupid project, that it. If it weren't for that, he probably wouldn't have ever spoke to me and id be friends with someone else.

Before I could say anything else on the matter, the purple haired boy the conversation was about appeared back in his seat, giving his apologies. Pretty soon after that we left the cafe and headed back home.

"What town do you live in Shinso, it's getting pretty late for you to walk alone," My father announced.

"Oh, I live in Hosu," he said. I looked over at him, my blue orbs meeting his purple ones.

"We live in the same town and you've never told me?" I asked, kinda hurt.

"Well I didn't want you to think less of me. That I was just walking you home because it was convenient," he shrugged, tapping his phone screen. He gave my father his address and we took him home.

He stopped out of the car and walked up to his front door, giving us and bow and a small wave before stepping in. We pulled out of his driveway and finished the drive home.

SHINSO'S POV:

"Welcome home," Aizawa greeted, papers scattered throughout the kitchen table.

"Hey, what was you wanted to talk about?" I asked, thinking it had to deal with Aimi.

"You said you weren't sure if you had feelings for someone, and if you did, you weren't sure if they felt the same right?" Aizawa asked, and I only nodded, sitting down across from him. He looked up before continuing, "well the best way to find out is make them jealous. Hang around with other people, girls especially, if that's what you're into."

"Dad!" I shouted, blushing deeply.

"Hey no judgment! Anyway, you have to be careful though. You don't want to end up hurting someone in the process, even though its most likely going to happen. If you feel comfortable telling me who it is you think you have feelings for, I might be able to help figure out who would be the best person to make them jealous," he purposed. I thought for a minute. Could I really tell him? Would he judge me for it? Maybe he had this planned all along. Whatever he was thinking, I was about to find out.

"I have a crush on Aimi Haru,"
