Nami's POV:
"Thanks for driving me." I said shyly. "It's no problem." He smiled at me. "Sorry for jumping you earlier." I said. "It's okay but like..what's the deal? Do you like Ten or not?" He said. I grabbed my stuff as I spoke. "Guess I'll have to tell the truth..but it's not your problem Sicheng." I said as I stepped out of his car. I grabbed my bike and started wheeling it to the house only to be stopped by Sicheng. "Wait..what if you didn't tell him?" He said as he grabbed my bike to get my attention. I looked at him confused as he spoke.
"What?" I said. "Yeah..what if we let people think we were actually together..just for like a little bit..I mean not just for Ten..I mean like everybody." He said. I raised an eyebrow as I became even more confused. "Why would you want that?" I laughed slightly. "Well for starters, Elkie (i put wrong name before lol sorry.) and I just broke up and when she found out you kissed me, she got so jealous so maybe if she thought you and I were together, she would want to get back with me." He said. "Ohhh..so you want to use me as your pawn." I said.
"Well technically you used me first when you jumped me...look, you don't have to give me an answer now but just think about it." He said as I walked off to the house. "Well..don't hold your breath." I said as I walked into the house.
No one's POV:
Sicheng shrugged and began walking back to his car before noticing Ten walking up to his trash can, throwing stuff away. "Ten right?" Sicheng questioned. "Yep. You taking Nami home?" Ten said. "Looks like it." Sicheng said. As Sicheng went to get in his car, Ten spoke up. "Hey, how long you two been hanging out?" He asked. "Not long." Sicheng said. That was the end of that conversation and they both went on with their day.
Nami's POV:
I laid there on the floor, watching my phone go off over and over as Ten kept trying to call me but I didn't want to answer, I didn't know what I would even say. I suddenly began invisioning what he might say to me. "We'd be great together, there are so many things I want to share with you and do." He said. "Oh my god shut it." She started imagining Sicheng next to her as well making her have mixed feelings. Why would she even think about him at all?
Suddenly it was the next day at school and she had made up her mind. She walked out onto the field where Sicheng and his team were playing soccer, he was the goal keeper so she saw he was all alone as they were just practicing while everyone else was doing their own thing. "Hey, Sicheng!" I said as I waved towards him. He walked up to me in confusion before I spoke my mind. "Let's do this." I said. He smiled and leaned forward, kissing me in front of all of the guys. I could feel their stares as I kissed him back.
"Welp, I'm going to class now..have a nice day..carry on everyone." I said as I awkwardly walked off while Sicheng smiled.

It was study hall and I met up with Sicheng at the bench outside near the field. "Okay so..we need to make a contract and go over some rules for this whole thing." I said. "Do we really have to have rules though, won't that just take the fun out of it?" He said. "Well it's important to know where you stand in certain issues." I said. "Like what?" He said. "Well for example, I don't want you to kiss me anymore." I said. "Are you serious? Who's going to believe that we're in a realtionship if I can't kiss you?" He said. "Well, you might be Mr. Romeo or whatever but I've never had a boyfriend." I said.
"You sound like a grandma. Why does any of that matter?" He sighed. "Well, I don't want all of my firsts to be fake. If I'm going to be making out with someone..then I want to be doing it for real." I said. "Okay well you kissed me first." He said. "This is non negotiable." I said. He stood up and grabbed his drinka as he sighed and walked to the other side of the bench. "Fine but we need to figure something out because people are going to start getting suspicious." He said.
"You're right..how about..you put your hand in my back pocket." I said. "Hand in your back pocket? What the hell is that?" He said, a very confused look on his face. "Sixteen candles..it's the opening image. It's a couples thing." I tried to explain. "Maybe in the seventies." He said. "Technically the eighties.. you don't know john hughes?" I said. He shook his head and I sighed, looking at my notes again. "Okay, well then, another rule, you have to watch sixteen candles with me because it's a classic and we can also never ever tell anybody that this is fake. It would be embarrassing for the both of us.
"First rule of fight club." He said, confusing me. "Are you serious? You've never seen fight club? Well..right that down, we're going to have a double feature after your candles movie." He said as he sat down across from me. "Okay..anything else?" I asked. "Um.. I could write you notes?" He said. "You'd do that for me?" I asked, finding that really sweet. "Yeah..Elkie was always on me about writing her notes..she'd be so jealous if she saw me giving them to you." He said, making me sigh.
"And you have to come with me to my soccer games and parties." He continued. "Well then you have to pick up me and my sister everyday and take us both to school and back." I said. "Okay, well you're also coming with me on the school trip." He said as he took my notebook and began writing it down. Wow, the school trip was infamous for more people losing their virginity than senior week and prom combined..I have never been. I thought to myself about all of it, it still seeming like a crazy idea.
"Wait, that's like three months away, you really think we'll still be doing this by then?" I questioned. "Well, if we are, there is no way a girl would let her boyfriend go on that trip without her so if we are still doing it, then you have to go with me." He said. I am certain that by the ski trip, Sicheng and I will be ancient history, that's the only reason I said. "Okay." We both signed the contract and shook on it, it was now officially on.
