Nami's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my younger sister Yifan and older sister Amber fighting while my dad tried to calm them down as usual. Probably over Yifan being her nosy little self and messing around in Amber's room again. I sighed in annoyance and got up out of bed and began to get ready. I threw myself together and went downstairs so I could actually have time to eat breakfast since I let my alarm snooze fifty times.

"Good morning Nami." My dad said. "Morning dad. I see everything is normal around here." I said as Amber started chasing Yifan around the house, trying to get her stuff back. "You got that right." My dad said. I betan to grab a plate of food as they calmed down and I sat at the table. "You're up early." Amber said as she sat down next to me. "Well I was hungry so.." I said. "Surpising cause she's always up daydreaming about boys all night." She said. "No I'm not." I said in defense, sticking my tongue out at her as she did the same back.

"Alright girls, you need to get going or you'll be late." My dad said while amber stood up to get her keys since she drove us to school. She owned a car and I didn't so I had to ride with her. I grabbed my bag and told my dad bye before going outside, following my sisters. "Hey babe." I heard a familier voice say. I looked up to see our neighbor Ten who also happened to be my older sister Amber's boyfriend and my secret crush from a few years ago before they even started dating. I hadn't told anyone about it.

Frankly, I considered myself over it, at least I hoped I was. "Hi Ten, you want to ride with us to school?" Amber said. "Sure, I already got my stuff. I was about to ask anyways." He laughed. "Hi Nami, Yifan, how have you guys been?" He said as he looked over at us with that damn smile, the smile that made me like him before. "Same as always chittaphon." Yifan said as she sighed and got in the car. "What she said." I said awkwardly as he looked at me. I got in the car and ignored any other conversation as it was still kind of awkward sometimes for me.

The both of them got in, Yifan claimed the front with Amber so I had to sit in the back with Ten. The ride to school was super awkward, Ten and I talking a little until we finally made it there. I hopped out of the car fast when we got there and went up to the school. I ran towards my locker, ignoring the calls of Ten behind me, trying to figure out why I ran off. As I almost made it to my locker, I accidentally bumped into someone, knocking me down. "Are you okay?" I heard someone say.

I looked up to see Xiaojun, a boy I had known since middle school, a boy who I also once had a crush on. I had had many of those childhood crushes, the ones you usually read about in novels. A crush that you have that if feels like you'll love him forever and get married or whatever and then one day you just get over it. Though sometimes it can be awkward. He reached his hand out and helped me up. "I am the one who should be sorry." I said.

"So are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah, thanks." I said as I smiled at him lightly, trying to be friendly. "It's been a while." He said as I opened my locker. I figured he would have walked away by now but he didn't. "Yeah.." was all I could manage to say, what else would you say in that moment? He leaned his arm against the wall next to me and I could feel his eyes on me. "You know..I.." he started to say before another voice chimed in. "Xiaojun! There you are, I have been looking for you..oh, hi Nami." He said.

"Hi YangYang." I said awkwardly. YangYang was another boy I had had a crush on, he was best friends with Xiaojun, which was kind of awkward but I had liked Xiaojun way before him. I only had a crush on YangYang when I had the same class as him. "Hi guys, can you leave Nami alone, can't you see she's uncomfortable." I suddenly heard my best friend's voice, making me feel a wave of relief. She shooed them away before smiling at me, probably ready to tell me the daily tea like always.

"What would I do without you Yuqi?" I laughed. "Girl, I got some tea to tell you." Oh here we go. She blabbed on for what seemed like forever until the bell rang, which meant we needed to be heading to class. "Alright, I'll see you later girl." I said. We went our seperate ways and went on with the day. Soon came gym class, which was the most interesting time of the day as I got to pretty much ignore any of the activities we were suppose to do and I just read a book at the picnic table instead. This was my usual routine which never changed, the same people went by, the same people in the class, but this day was different.
