I smile and we have breakfast. We then clean up, mum arrives and we drive to the hospital. We go inside and we check in. We get called and we go inside the room. Marley sits on the bed. "So, your pregnant. We're gonna do a scan to see how far along you are" said Lucy. We nod and Marley pulls her top up. "First kid?" asked Lucy. "No, my second and Corbyn's second" said Marley. She looks at us. "I have a daughter and Marley has a son, different mum/dad. My ex died giving birth to my daughter. Our first baby together" I said. "Right, well I love a blended family" said Lucy. She squirts the gel on her stomach. She gasps. "I forgot how cold it was. My son's 5" said Marley. "My daughter is 5 too" I said. "Ah so a gap. I have three kids, one with my husband and two with my ex boyfriend. Ah there the baby is. It seems to be 5and a half weeks. Well everything looks good and here's the heartbeat. Nice and strong" said Lucy. "Wow." said Marley. "Obviously we can't pick up the baby just yet but the baby is healthy. Well, I'll give you a prescription for prenatal vitamins and stuff." said Lucy. We thank her and she hands us the scan. "Come back next month for the next check up" said Lucy. We thank her and go get the prenatal vitamins. We go home and show mum the scan. "So tiny. I made lunch, it's nearly ready" said mum. "Thank you, Mrs. Besson" said Marley. "Call me Saskia" said mum. Marley nods and we have the food she made.
Once mum leaves, we sit on the sofa while the kids play. "Wow, our baby is inside me" said Marley. "He or she is" I said. I smile at her. "A mini you or me" said Marley. "Yeah, gonna be weird. I don't care what gender it is." I said. "Same" said Marley. Ella and Dray walk over. "We have some news for you, your both gonna be a big brother and sister" I said. "We are" said Drayton and Ella. We nod. Drayton smiles and hugs us. Ella does the same. We decide to watch Tangled and eat popcorn.
The kids loved it and we decided to order pizza. Ella and Dray have a pepperoni while me and Marley have a meat feast! Yummy. We then watch Frozen 2 before they go to bed at 8 for school. Me and Marley turn on Fate: Winx Saga and then when it hits 11 we go to bed. I wish her goodnight and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I conk out.
Today was such a good day, we got to see the baby!
