It didn't take me long to get ready, I mean a suit. It takes minutes. Dad, Jordan, Daniel, Jonah, Zach and Jack are smiling. Dad pats my shoulder. "My boy" said dad, tearing up. "Dad, why are you crying?" I ask. "I... I'm so proud of the man you became. You could have let what happened to you ruin you but you didn't, you pushed on. I'm happy" said dad. "If it wasn't for any of you guys or mum, I wouldn't have dated Marley. So, everyone, thank you for pushing me" I said. We share a hug and go to our place. We decided to get married where I proposed.
As I stand at the alter, watching the bridesmaids walk down the aisle and seeing our kids walk down, I begin to tear up but when I see Marley, I begin to cry. She is a Goddess right now as she always is. She is mine. Once she reaches me, I take her hand. "You look breathtaking" I whisper. "As do you" she whispered back.
VOWS:
Corbyn: "Where do I start with this? Marley..... when we met, I had no idea what was to come and god am I pleased you lost your job and moved in with me. You and Dray, came into mine and Ella's life after we lost Christina when Ella was born, you never batted an eyelash when Ella or me needed help. Then we got drunk, slept together and got pregnant with Azzie. God, we did it backwards but I am so glad we did it that way. You make me so happy and full of laughter. The lads once told me, you bought back the old Corbyn and you did, it took me a while to process it but once I did I realized I needed you in my life like limelight. People say you love many different people, but this love that I share with you? Is the only love I need. You gave me Dray and Azzie. You love Ella like she's yours. You have my heart forever and always. I love you to the end of all galaxy's."
Marley: "Corbyn Besson, you helped me when you didn't know me. You bought me and Dray in and gave us a place to live and yes, maybe what we did was backwards but backwards is the best way. I fell in love with you and knew you were an amazing an. I never thought I'd find love after my ex, after what he did to me and Dray. You gave e Azzie and yes, we did that backwards too. Ella and you, you both helped me and Dray and I never believed I'd get another love but I did, and not only was it a good one, it is a great one that I will cherish and love you forever because, guess what? your stuck with me, even if we annoy each other, we have this love that can't be explained and that is protected by us. Your my hero and my best friend and my lover and husband. Your my everything. You gave me a family. A family where love is the main founder of it. I love you forever and always. "Do you take Corbyn Besson to be your lawfully wedded husband?" asked the priest.
"I do" said Marley.
"Do you, take Marley King to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the priest.
"I do" I said.
We exchange rings. "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" said the priest. We share a kiss and walk down the aisle. We get to the reception and we get ready for dinner.
Father of the groom speech:
Ray Besson: "My son, he just married the love of his life today. When Christina died, I honestly thought I'd never see the Corbyn I raised with Saskia. I thought he was gone but alas, Marley Besson bought him back. She made him, him. Corbyn, he was a kid who taught himself to read and I was amazed at how smart he was, like none of us is that smart but I guess that's Corbyn's other gift, other than singing that is, to be smart as anything I've ever known. When he loves, he loves. Marley, your like a daughter to me. Your laughter fills the room and when your in the room, you light the room. Corbyn loves you and you, my dear, are one of a kind. You both were meant for each other, call it destiny, call it fate, call it whatever, your it for each other"
Best Man Speech: (Daniel, Jack, Jonah and Zach were best men but only one does the speech)
Daniel Seavey:
"My best friend, well one of them. You came back to us. Your the best dad, your the best guy. When you showed interest in Marley I was like hmmm and then after you told us she was pregnant, I was like, yup. She gonna be Mrs. Besson one day. She bought back the real Corbyn Matthew Besson that we finally have back. Now, Marley, Corbyn's gonna be teaching your kids everything he knows from singing to space to instruments to musical everything, which I'll admit we five lads will do anyway. Built in uncles. Now, Corbyn..... enjoy your honeymoon and if you come back pregnant...... you owe me a pint."
Our first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. Me and Marley both cried during it.
Our honeymoon is in the Maldives.
It was for 2 weeks.
3 months after the honeymoon we discovered we were having a baby.
Our baby boy was just born, River Bex Besson. Our boy.
We had two more kids after River, Athena Lynn Besson and Eden Destiny Besson.
We, the Besson's are happy and fulfilled in our lives.
