In Too Deep

I wake up and have a quick shower. I put on jeans, a hoodie and vans. I go to the kitchen and Marley is eating cereal. "I love this cereal" said Marley. "That's good, which on is it?" I ask. "Rice Krispies." said Marley. I sit down with cereal. Marley glances at me and smiles. "God, I'm tired, really tired" said Marley. "Pregnancy?" I ask. "Yup, the same with Dray before. I was nearly always tired" said Marley. "Oh that must suck" I said. "It is but it's...... worth it, ya know. Bringing life into the world" said Marley. I nod and look at her. "Your beautiful, Marley, believe me, you'll be even prettier when your 6 months pregnant" I said. "Thank you, Bean" said Marley

"So, wanna head to the beach?" I ask. "Nah, I'm too tired" said Marley. "OK, wanna go to the cinema, relaxation" I said. She nods and goes to get dressed. She comes out in joggers and a hoodie, mine to be exact. I smile and hug her. She hugs back and kisses my cheek. "Let's go" said Marley. We get in the car and drive to the cinema. We go watch Spider-Man: Far From Home. We watch it while eating popcorn and jellies. I take a sip of soda and smile. I rub my face and we watch it. Once it's over we go pick the kids up. "Mommy! Nan made us waffles and chocolate" said Dray. "Did you eat it all?" asked Marley. "I sure did" said Dray. Ella hugs me and kisses me. I pick her up and kiss her cheek. "Were you good?" I ask. "I was" said Ella. Dray smiles and hugs me. I smile at him. "Hey buddy" I said. I hug him back and Marley smiles. "Wow, Dray loves you, Bean" said Marley. "Thanks and I love him too" I said, smiling. "He doesn't have a father figure and I'm glad he has you" said Marley. "Ella loves you too, you know" I said. "I love her too" I said, smiling. We head home after thanking my mom. The kids go to the playroom and I sit on the sofa. Marley joins me and yawns. "Today has been weird but good" I said. "It has" said Marley. 

Ella walks in and sits on my lap. "I love you, daddy" said Ella. "I love you too" I said. I kiss her head and Dray walks in. He sits on Marley's lap. I smile at them. "Ya know what? I think we make the cutest family and wait till your stomach comes" I said. "Shit yeah" said Marley. "We gonna be awesome" I said. "How about we order?" asked Marley. "Oh, we can order from this new restaurant" I said. "Oh yes!" said Marley. We order two chicken dinners and two kids burgers. 

Once the food arrives, we enjoy it. "Daddy? Can you read me a bedtime story?" asked Ella. "Sure" I said. Dray joins me and we go read them books. I smile and we go watch movies and once we finish, I go to bed. I instantly fall asleep.
