I wake up to Ella jumping on my bed. "Daddy... get up!" said Ella. "I am, sweetie. Go get situated at the table and let me get dressed" I said. She nods and leaves. I put on jeans, a red t-shirt and converse. I do my hair and go to the kitchen. I begin to make pancakes and pour out orange juice for the kids. Marley walks inside and smiles. "Morning" said Marley. "Morning" I said. I hand them all their food and we dig in. Once we finish, I get the kids dressed and Marley cleans up. Once we're finished, we drop the kids to school.
Once we get back to the house, Marley sits on the sofa. "I kinda want a girl" said Marley. "I kinda want a boy" I said. "OK, let's do a bet. I bet you $50 it's a girl" said Marley. "I bet you a $100 it's a boy" I said. "Going big. Shake on it" said Marley. We shake hands and we hear a knock on the door. I open it to Jonah, Daniel, Zach and Jack. "Hey" they said. They come in. "What's up?" asked Daniel. "We made a bet on the gender, I said $50 if it's a girl" said Marley. "I said $100 for a boy" I said. "Oh.... we want in" said Jack. "OK, money and gender" I said. "$90 for a girl" said Daniel. "$200 for a boy" said Jonah. "$150 for a girl" said Jack. "$200 for a girl" said Zach.
"OK, let's see who is right when we do a gender reveal!" I said. "Hey let's do an Instagram together" said Marley. "Yes and one for mine. We can just say we're friends or just tease the fuck out of them" I said. Marley laughs.
