It's been a year since Aspen has been born and I'm so happy. I am planning on proposing today to Marley and she has no idea. I put on a shirt and jeans. I put on vans and do my hair. I'm not going to go overboard because Marley wouldn't like that. I know that.

When she walks out I gasp. Shit, she always looks perfect in anything dressed up or dressed down, she looks perfect. I love her so much. "You look perfect" I said. "Thank you and so do you" said Marley. She smiles. "Mum has the kids. Aspen was happy to see her" I said. "I bet she was" said Marley, laughing. I take her hand and lead her to the car. We hop in and drive. I rented out this place that I found and had people decorate it for me. I hope she loves it. I place a blindfold over her eyes and take off again. I park and help her out. "Where are you taking me?" asked Marley. "Somewhere" I said. I lead her inside and stop. I take the blindfold off.

"Wow... this is beautiful" said Marley. I lead her to the cushions and we sit down. "Strawberry?" I ask. She nods. The movie turns on and we watch until it cuts off to pictures of us. I stand up and help her up. I kneel down.
"Marley King, you not only gave me two kids, you gave me a reason to love again, you taught me to love again. I never thought I'd be here again, loving someone so much but maybe this was what was meant to happen but in a way I got to this place of happiness and content. I have a question..... Will you do me the honour of becoming Mrs. Besson?" I ask. She begins to cry and nods. "Yes!" cried Marley. I slide the ring onto her ring finger. "I have the wedding bands for this already" I said, smiling.

She smiles. "It's beautiful" said Marley. We sit down and the movie starts again. When it gets late, we go home. We go to our room to celebrate the engagement.
NEXT DAY
We get everyone around and their smiling. "We're engaged" said Marley. Everyone screams. I look at mum. She walks over. "baby boy you found the one" said mum. I nod and hug her. "I love you mum" I said. "I love you more" said mum. Everyone was happy and we announced it on Instagram.
Ella, Dray and Aspen were delighted. Ella and Dray are now 6 and Aspen 1. We're gonna be getting married next year, which we're excited for it. I mean, she will be my wife, have my last name. I love her so much. Life is just perfect right now.
