I wake up and rub my face. I go have a quick shower since Ella will run in soon. I put on jeans, a hoodie and vans. I blow dry my hair and style it. I smile at my reflection and go to Ella's room. I go inside and she's dressed. I smile at her. "Morning, sweetie" I said. "Morning, daddy" said Ella. We go downstairs and Marley is already dressed. "I have to get a job today" said Marley. "I can drive you around when they go to school?" I said. "Oh if that's OK with you" said Marley. "It is, Marley. Now, let's have some food" I said. Me and Marley begin to make cereal.
Once we serve them to the kids, we sit down and dig in. Ella smiles at me and pats my head. I frown and look at her. "Your hair is soft" said Ella. "Thanks, El" I said. She goes to the sitting room. Drayton follows her and Marley smiles. "You and your daughter are cute" said Marley. "Comes to being a single dad but it's hard but I have support" I said. "Same here but my god, having a son was hard. I mean, what do I know about male's?" said Marley. "Their quite unique, men" I said. I rub my face and we make lunch. We pack the school bags and then we head to my car. We drive to the school and we walk them to the doors. We hug them goodbye and then we leave.
I drive her to this bookshop and she goes in. I wait for her and when she comes out, she's smiling. She jumps in. "I got the job!" said Marley. "Congratulations!" I said. We drive home and I go inside and clean up. Marley walks in and smiles. "Thank you, for everything. We're practically strangers" said Marley. "It's no problem, really" I said. I rub my face and we sit on the sofa. "I;m so tired" I said. "Same, honestly, kids are tiring but fun" said Marley. "They sure are.... I'm gonna run to the shops to grab some essentials" I said. "I can give you some money" said Marley. "Nah, on me for now" I said. I leave and head to Target. I go inside and begin to grab some food. I head back to the car and sit down. I go on my phone and see that Marley followed me on Instagram, I followed her back.

I ignore the comment and head home. I grab the bags and go inside. I unpack and Marley comes to help. "I saw the comment. Will I comment?" asked Marley. "Nah, ignore. I shouldn't have to explain if I am dating or friends with a girl" I said. "True. I mean, I can sing but I don't want to be famous" said Marley. "You can sing?" I ask. "I do, I have some songs that I wrote." said Marley. I nod and we have lunch.
I hear my phone ding.

Yeah, great actually. Me and Marley are just relaxing till the time we collect Drayton and Ella! :)

I glance at Marley. "Daniel and his sister, Anna is coming over after we collect Drayton and Ella" I said. "OK, I follow her on Instagram, she seems cool" said Marley. I smile, nodding. "She'll love you" I said. Marley nods and eventually drive to the school to pick up the kids. They run over to us and Drayton hugs Marley and Ella hugs me. We head home and I look at Ella. "Daniel and Anna are coming over soon" I said. "Yay!" said Ella. "Who are they?" asked Drayton. "My best friend and his little sister" I said, smiling. "Ah right" said Drayton. We get home and their already there. We step out. "Hey guys" I said. "OH MY GOD SHE GOT SO BIG!" yelled Anna. Ella runs to her and hugs her. I smile and we go inside. "I'm Marley and this is my son, Drayton" said Marley. "Hey! Holy shit your beautiful!" said Anna. "Thank you, so are you" said Marley. I smirk and make some dinner. Marley comes in and helps me. I spot a bit of pasta sauce on her chin. I wipe it off and she looks at me. "Sorry, you had sauce on you" I said. I make soup and once it's done, we serve it. "So, Marley, how are you? Dani was telling me about everything.... that's horrible" said Anna. Marley shrugs and takes a sip of her soup. "I guess, I want Dray to have a life and I want to be able to give it to him" said Marley. "Completely understandable" said Anna. Marley nods and Drayton smiles at me. "Corbyn? You sing?" asked Drayton. "Yeah, me and Daniel and three other lads are in a band together" I said, smiling. "Cool, can you show me sometime?" asked Drayton.
"Of course" I said. Drayton smiles at me and I smile back. Me and Marley clean up. Anna and Daniel entertain the kids. Once we finish, we settle down for the night watching movies. Daniel and Anna leave at 10 after we put the kids to bed at 9. They wanted to finish watching a movie and we couldn't say no to them. Once it gets to 11. I decide I need to sleep. "Night Marley" I said. "Night. I'm going to bed soon, I'll lock up" said Marley. I nod and go to my room. I put on my pyjama's and go for a wee before sliding under the covers. I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Today was actually quite good and I can't wait for tomorrow!
Already at chapter 5! Wow! I am really enjoying writing this book!
