7. A dark time in the past

"Hey..Don't go there. There will be more people take left."

Xiao Hua took left as the other said. He ran ahead and to his bad luck, there were about 10 people with knives of all kinds. Xiao is skilled in martial arts and those gangsters were nothing. He started fighting. It was an intense scene. People were flying getting beaten by Xiao Hua. His skills were not in match with his looks. Maybe that gangsters took lightly of him. In no time all of them were beaten to death(well not exactly but still). Xiao smirked looking at the people scattered around him. With a mere baton, he could end all of them. He was proud of himself. He walked forward but suddenly he looked back. Why he is still not here. Before he could think more, he heard footsteps behind. He listened to it carefully. There are about 20 people for sure. Where the hell is that idiot!?

Xiao Hua was alone only with a metal baton. Even if how skilled a person, to fight with about 20 persons is risky.  The fight lasted for almost half an hour and got wounds in his arms and back. But at that time what Xiao Hua worried about is his companion. He did not see him or heard him for quite a time. He was afraid something happened to him. He decided to take a look for him. Xiao Hua went back to the corner where he lost him. But there was nothing. And there wasn't any sign of a fight too. Where did he go? Xiao Hua looked around. He was starting to panic.

"Hei ye....."

Xiao Hua screams with his lungs. But there wasn't any response. Xiao Hua stopped running as his phone rings.

"Hua'er why aren't you back. I thought something happened to you."

"You went back!?"

"Yes. I have to get the hostages to a safe place, no."

"You took the hostages too."

"Yes. Hua'er the press people are here. I gotta go. Oh my God. I think I look ugly I have to....." beep beep beep

"You..."  <flash back ends>

"Hei'er..Hei'er..."

"Huh? You called me?"

"Or who else? What were you thinking? You were so lost."

"Nothing. Nothing. Hehee"

"Ehh... Let's get a little bit closer. It will be easy to hear them."

"Okay okay."

Both Pangzi and Glasses moved closer to the glass wall.

While in wuxie's cabin

"Say it, Xiao Hua. I only deserve to die right."

Wuxie suddenly dropped to the ground. He was crying so hard. Xiao couldn't watch it anymore. And seeing this pangzi came in too followed by glasses. Xiao gently hugged Wuxie. Wuxie buried his head on Xiao Hua's shoulder.

Pangzi: Wuxie.. What on the earth happened? Don't cry like this. It's not any good.

Xiao Hua: Wuxie, tell us what happened. We can sort it out. Don't be like this.

Wuxie: I'm no good. I thought this me is enough but I'm not. I can't have him. (Sobbing)

Pangzi: Wuxie, don't say like that. You may not be a specialist but you are talented in many ways. Wuxie you are perfect in my eyes.

Black glasses: Right. You know even I wanted to work under you. So I came here..

Hearing this Xiao Hus gave him a look. As usual, that scared face of glasses wasn't concealed by his shades. He laughed nervously.

Xiao Hua: Wuxie, let me ask you one thing. Did he say so?

Black Glasses: He? who is he?

Pangzi: it's a he!? Who is he??? Ahhhh him!! Daebak! {idk the Chinese equivalent to it ): }

Black glasses: Who is him?

Pangzi: You don't know? If you don't know then, you don't have to know.

Black glasses: Eh! Why do you sound like Hua'er?

Pangzi: ('because it's he who said it' he murmured)

Wuxie: He... He didn't say it but it's the truth.

Xiao Hua: Wuxie you are thinking all your own. You didn't even bother to listen to him. It's not right. What if his feelings are the complete opposite? What if he likes you too? Don't you think you are hurting him too? Is that what you want?

Wuxie: No...

"You are so great Hua ye. You can advise people to listen to others but you don't follow it."

Black glasses pulled a chair and sat facing Xiao Hua.

"Im not interested in listening to a selfish man."

Xiao Hua was very angry and he didn't hide it.

"Hua ye.. This is not fair. For how long you are gonna be mad over that incident."

Xiao didn't answer. Black glasses was losing his patience. He was determined to clear all the misunderstandings between them. Anyways it was his fault. He got closer to Xiao Hua.

"Hua ye... What I did was misdirection. When I told you to go left the gangsters heard it and went after you. At that time I sneaked through right. I was able to rescue the hostages, don't I? It was great teamwork."

Xiao Hua wasn't a fan of fame or he didn't wish for promotions and all. But he couldn't forget how he got fooled by black glasses. So how much Black glasses tried to explain, Xiao Hua didn't pay attention to it.
