13. Found you

Wuxie walked through the narrow passageway and reached the back of the mansion. There was a rolling shutter door for the basement and it was rolled up. He looked inside but just like inside it was wept clean. Wuxie was in a hurry so he didn't waste much time inspecting the place. He was about to turn and go, suddenly something caught his eye. The basement was large and dark. The far end corner was invisible. But wuxie saw something lying on the floor. And next to it a camera was somehow visible.

"XIAO GE..."

Wixie ran to him. Zhang was unconscious. Wuxie called his name several times there was no response at all. He pulled him into a tight embrace. Wixie tears were wetting the black hood.

"Xiao ge.. Please.. Please wake up.

Xiao ge don't leave me yet, please."

Wuxie was positive about seeing him today itself. But he never imagined seeing him in this state. The sight of the lifeless body lying on the ground almost froze wuxie. He was afraid to confront reality. Wuxie slowly extended his hands, but it was trembling. He gently creased zhang's cheeks. Wuxie closed his eyes, praying in silence he Slowly moved down to his neck. He pressed the two fingers in zhang's neck.

"Thank God"

Wuxie felt the life in his man, he let out a sigh in relief. Without wasting time. Wuxie lifted him, his left hand around the shoulders and the right supporting the legs, and ran outside. He didn't stop calling Zhang for a second. But there was no response. Wuxie cried in pain. Zhang didn't have severe injuries. Only some bruises on the face and lips. So wuxie may have guessed the possibility of being drugged. But what kind of drug was it? What will happen to him?

"PANGZI..." "XIAO HUA..." HEI'ER..."

Wuxie screamed their names one by one. He ran towards the front and saw pangzi only. But he didn't stop. Wuxie fell earlier so he doesn't know the way, pangzi ran with him.

"Xiao Hua... We got him..."

Both Xiao Hua and Black glasses followed them shorty. Wuxie didn't stop once, he carried him to the car and Xiao Hua drove it to the nearest hospital.

(24 hrs after...)

Pangzi: Wuxie at least drink this water. Look at yourself, is this the face you're gonna show him when he wakes up.

Xiao Hua: Wuxie.

Wuxie: I can't. Please, pangzi.

Zhang was still unconscious, but the doctor said he was out of danger. The drug he took wasn't harmful but since he took it twice, the effect was double and hard to recover. Wuxie didn't sleep yesterday or eat anything until now. He kept saying it's all his fault. While the doctor was dealing with Zhang, Pangzi and Xiao Hua had to deal with the one outside. Black glasses were sent to deal with all the office matters. He kept phoning Xiao Hua asking about the situation, or to talk nonsense and get scolded by him.

By evening, a nurse came out of the emergency room.

"The patient is awake. But only one can see him."

The nurse didn't finish, wuxie rushed into the room. Zhang was lying with closed eyes in the bed wearing the hospital gown. His face had a small bandage. Wuxie stood near the bed. He gently placed his hand on Zhang's hands. Zhang slowly opened his eyes. As wuxie become visible to him Zhang's lips curved up.

"Wuxie.."

"Xiao ge"

Wuxie tried his best not to cry. He didn't want to worry Zhang anymore.
He was seated near Zhang.

"Wuxie... You found me."

"Mm.. I always have. Didn't I?"

"Right. You always have."

Zhang was not fully conscious. His words were not that loud and it was breaking too.

"You don't talk. Rest now. You have to recover soon. I can't wait any longer. I have to make up for all my faults."

"I'm okay now. Don't.. Don't worry."

"Look at you talking like this, and you say you are okay."

"Mm.. And why you are like this?"

Zhang raised his hands and held his face. Wuxie didn't say anything, for a second he was like a pillar. Zhang creased his face, the bruises which were still didn't dressed.

"Nothing. You just... You just.. Rest. I.. I'm hungry. I will be back."

Just like that, he ran out of the room confronting the two worried faces outside.

Pangzi: What happened wuxie? Why are you?

Wuxie: Danger.

Xiao Hua: Danger?

Wuxie: Staying inside, it's dangerous.

Pangzi: Wuxie, are you okay? What the hell are you talking about?

Xiao Hua: Wuxie you were the one who were dying to see him. Then why are you here? What happened?

Wuxie: Xiao Hua. Pangzi. I think.. I think I won't be able to control myself if I stay there more. That's why...

HUH!!!!

This chapter is rather short. I'm a bit sad while writing this. So it was affecting the story. I think this story is tragic already. And I'm done with it. That's why I didn't drag this hospital scene much.
