Chapter 2: The stone of light

"So your Professor Gale's son?" I asked.
"Yeah actually I am, it's kinda embarrassing to talk about." Raven said while he was eating.
"Why?"
"Because me and my brother Owen are seen as the popular ones of Whistvenia."
" Ow, I am sorry I didn't know that."
"It's not your fault silly." He laughed.
"But you're new here right?"
"Uh actually I lived here my whole live in Whistvenia but it's my first year learning to use my powers."
"Wow, you lived your whole live here? How amazing is that!"
"It's cool but the seduction to see all the students here use there powers and you can't just sucks." Said Raven.
For a moment we where quiet because I didn't know what I should say.
"So what are your powers?" He asked me.
I became nervous, what should I say? I haven't gotten my powers yet. Should i lie? No don't lie hope that's pathetic, no don't lie.
"Uhm.. actually.. I haven't gotten my powers yet, sorry." I said shyly.
He stared at me for 5 seconds really confused and I became to panic that he was going to ignore me now.
"So no powers yet huh." He said agitated while he continued eating.
"No.."i said
He interrupted me. "It is actually really cool because maybe I can help you with it?" He asked.
"Uhm." I said confused.
He interrupted me again. "Only if you want to"
"Uhm yeah maybe it will be fun." I said convinced.
We continuing eating and talked a little bit longer.

We finished eating and wanted to go back to our rooms. I accidentally dropped my necklace and i fell under the chair from Raven.
We were walking to our rooms when suddenly..
"Guys my necklace is gone!" I screamed.
"What necklace?" Asked Mazu questionly.
I hyperventilate and couldn't talk.
"It's a stone in the shape of a Luno she said but it's actually the stone of light." Told Grace them.
"You have the stone of light!" Said Philotes.
"It's not the stone of light, it's just a stone in the shape of a luno." I told.
"Yes it is!" Said Grace frustrated while she went through her book.
"Here." Grace showed the drawing from the exact same necklace I got.
"Hope that is the most powerful stone you can ever have, and you lost it." Said Avril open-eyed and schocked.
"I told you it was a special necklace!" Said Grace.
" I- I didn't know that, my mom told me nothing about that necklace she just gave it to me." I said guilty.
I felt a little guilty about it that I lost it, what if my new roommates don't trust me now with stuff.
"It's not your fault, you didn't know that. We get that you feel guilty about it but it is totally not your fault. We will find that necklace." Said Hayden while she put her hand on my back to comfort me,
"Okay, but what does the necklace do actually?" I asked questionly.
"Well its the most powerful stone-"said Grace
I interrupted her and said.
"The most powerful stone! And I lost it! And all of you are staying that calm!"
"Wow miss, do you get it just now." Said Philotes while she laughed.
"No.." I said.
"There is only one stone of it and it was in the possesion of a witch." Said Grace.
"But both of my parents are fairies." I told them confused.
"Maybe your grandmother?" Said mazu.
"Or your grandfather?" Said Hayden.
"Or maybe a friend of your mom that was a witch and gave it to her?" Said Philotes.
"No my mom doesn't even have friends and if she had they are probably dead, the only friend she has is Grace's mom." I said.
"I think your mom wouldn't like to hear that." Said Grace while she laughed.
"But why would my mom have this necklace?" I asked.
"I have no idea." Said Grace.
"But I would be careful with that necklace who you show it to, because if it falls into the wrong hands and then the dark witches we are wasted." Told Philotes to me.
"Uhm maybe you didn't catch but I lost the necklace." I said to Philotes with a nervous laugh.
Still I was very upset about it that I lost that necklace.

The roommates from Raven went up and decided to go to there room while Raven saw a shiny thing under his chair and picked it up. He immediately knew from who the necklace was. "Hey guys, uhm I need to go give something to someone, I will see you at the doorn rooms." Said Raven to all his roommates. "Okay mate we will see you there." said storm to Raven.
———————————————————————We arrived at our rooms and went in and I went immediately to my room to write in my diary.

Dear diary.
O my god no, I lost my moms necklace that she gave to me. Apparently it is the most powerful stone that was in posses from a witch while I didn't know that. How am I so stupid, to lose that necklace. Maybe it was a sigh about it and am I a witch. We shall see tomorrow, but first.. good night.

There was a loud bang on the door.
"Someone please open the door." Screamed Grace from the bathroom."
"I'll go." I said.
I went to the main room door and opened it up.
"I think you lost this." Said Raven gently.
O my god, it was Raven. He had my necklace.
"Oh yeah that's mine, thank you." I said as I held my hand out for him to give it to me.
"What is it?" He asked.
He probably knew exactly what it was.
"Uhm just a necklace my mom gave to me." I said
" just a necklace huh." Raven asked
Okay he knew what it was and he wanted me to tell him.
"Uhm yeah I think so."
"We will talk about that tomorrow in class." He said
"In class?" Is asked confused.
"Yess of cours, tomorrow we have class together." I said while he smiled happily.
"Well good night sleeping beauty." He said while he walked away to his room.
Did he just called me sleeping BEAUTY?!
