--------------------------------------------------------------------------The eight entities were now gathered at the second floor in a circle. Aerial had turned into her human form, which was a dark skinned woman with dark dreadlocks and white tips at the end of the bangs and hair. Her outfit was like that of a warrior's with wing symbols and swirls, gold and various other colors, adorning them. Wind's looked similar to Tina's but it was green and was in the form of a dress.
Sakari was beside Aerial and Wind, looking at the others. Aerial told her to set the book in the middle and she had done so, sitting back where she was before.
Her brown hues watched Aerial flip through the pages before she got to the one that had the tale of the Legendaries on there. Her lips parted and her brows furrowed.
"Okay...so it's here." Aerial's expression softened when she saw it. Her hues rested on Sakari. "Did you guys get to this part in the first chapter?"
She shook her head. "No. We stopped just at the part where you entered that one lab place."
Aerial's lips pursed in a mix of uneasiness and semi-understanding. She didn't feel right with the books having been copied and known to others. But then again, that's what happened when Solaria wanted to help spread knowledge to the humans and all.
With a sough, she touched the page and what looked like a holographic screen came up. Sakari's mouth parted in awe before she realized that it was almost like watching a shared memory play right before her.
"This is a memory screen. A complete consensual device that an entity can choose to help store an important memory of theirs. Since this memory, besides being traumatic for us, has become such an importance, Solaria had asked us if we had wanted this stored. We had said to give us time and later on, we decided to. In case anything else came up...such at this. So now..."
She pressed her hand to the screen, pressing play.
-------------------------------
Aerial got closer to see what the haunting figure was. When they had turned around from where they were, they revealed themselves to be a demon.
The demon had crimson skin and dark hair, their bangs tipped in white. Horns protruded from their head and their golden hues leered down at the small entity.
"How did you get here, entity?" his voice was deep, laced with a threatening tone. "You're not supposed to be here."
Aerial's ears dropped down and she trembled, backing up. All that came out of her mouth was, "R-Rift..."
The word hit the demon's ears and he mumbled at himself in annoyance. "Dammit...that rift was a fault of mine. I'll see if I can..." his voice suddenly trailed off, as if an idea brewed in his mind. His attention went back to Aerial when he noticed the markings of hers. He recognized them from research he's done on the Legendaries. She was the daughter of Tumelo.
This was perfect.
"Actually...perhaps you might be beneficial on what I'm working on." he walked over to her, a sinister smile on his lips.
Aerial's hues darted to the machine that she saw earlier. Something bright was glowing and she couldn't tell what it was, but she got a bad hunch from it. Adrenaline pulsed through her. She knew she had to do something.
When Acacius got close, she formed a spear with her powers, holding it in her mouth. With the right timing, she sent it at one of the walls. The spear nearly got his shoulder and he dodged it.
