IT WAS NOW SATURDAY AND SAKARI WAS relaxing on their bed. They didn't have any homework to do today, so they had a day of relaxation. She had already finished it yesterday after her hangout with Shisui. However, her brain decided to remind them right then that they started their training today at the headquarters.
The brown-haired girl got out of bed and got into a orange-shirt, pink stretch jeans, and white sneakers. After putting their hair into a braid, they set on out. They had been relaxing in their room since after breakfast.
"Hey, Mom! I'm gonna be heading over to the headquarters." Sakari smiled, waving to her mother. Her mom was watching the news and looked up when Sakari spoke to her.
"Alright! Good luck with your first day, sweetie." Aiwami got up as the sixteen year-old made her way to the door. "You got this."
"Thanks." Sakari grinned brightly, hugging their mom before setting off. Aiwami seemed to have a distant, worried look though, but Sakari didn't catch it.
They had to jog their memory for a moment to remember where the headquarters were. They knew that they were there when the whole Kurorai stuff happened. That made her go still for a moment. She had almost forgotten about it, but in the back of her head, the teen remembered seeing the android and remembering what happened prior to her flying back into the wall. Her mind drifted to the investigation going on and the recent evidence of Kurorai possibly being an entity.
Her fist clenched with worry and realization that she is training to not only help out like she wanted to. But also to fight Kuroma later on...and possibly Kurorai. And also to help protect the others.
She picked up her pace again and made it to the headquarters. One of the workers there noticed and looked down at a clipboard, asking if she was Sakari. Sakari nodded and was told to follow them to the office.
There, Michiko was looking at files from a folder. When the worker said that Sakari was here, the pink-haired woman looked up with a soft smile.
"Ah, Sakari. You're here early." She set down the papers and got up, heading over to the shorter of the two. "But welcome. You'll need different clothes for this training. Let me go get them for you. Feel free to look around."
"Okay!" Sakari did just that and noticed that the office was fairly big. It was a light blue color with a two-wheeled whiteboard, markers on the sill and an eraser. It was blank, save for a piece of paper that looked to be a report card. There was a picture next to it that showed Shisui, Michiko, and Hana at a park together. All three of them were smiling.
Sakari found herself smiling as well for a moment, prior to her hues flickering to the other side of the room. There was a holographic screen up that reminded her of the scroll device Solaria let her borrow briefly at the hospital. It was projecting onto the wall from a white holder sitting on a wooden stand, with books inside it. She wondered to herself how Michiko got that, walking over in awe.
"I see you found the screen—"
"HAH?!" Sakari jumped, having spaced out for a moment.
"...Device?" Michiko blinked. "Did you space out?"
"Y-Yeah I did." Sakari chuckled a bit, rubbing the back of their neck. "That happens, sometimes but..." she cleared her throat. "Anyways, uh, this office looks really nice!"
"Thank you." Michiko gave her a warm smile before setting the folded shirt and jeans. Sakari looked a bit confused, prior to realizing that this was her training outfit. "Here's your outfit. Go put it on and follow me to one of the training rooms."
"Okay!" Sakari nodded and looked around once she got out. The sixteen year-old was lost, trying to figure out where the dressing rooms might be. She ended up asking an employee with dark brown skin and golden hues on where it was. They directed her to the dressing room and they thanked them, getting a 'no problem' in return.
