Izuku

I slowly open my eyes only to be blinded by bright lights. I immediately shut them back before blinking a few times. I noticed Izuki sitting beside me on his phone. He looked over at me with a smirk.

"It's about time you woke up. How do you feel?" He asked.

"Weak"

"Yeah I figured, you can go ahead I'll be ok." he said going back to his phone.

I nod and lay my head on his shoulder. My body feels cooler and I can feel my energy coming back. The pro that was running on rooftops walked in with a detective, a hybrid, and an old lady.

"Oh your both awake" the old lady said.

She began walking over to us and my eyes turned white as a warning.

"Don't worry she won't hurt me" Izuki ruffled my hair and I nodded ignoring them.

"We would like to ask you both some questions" the detective said.

"I'll answer them" Izuki said.

"We need statements from you both"

"He's mostly mute and can't speak in full sentences" Izuki responded.

"Do you know sign language?" The Pro asked me.

I just looked at him and Izuki chuckled.

"We do but he won't speak to any of you. He's a little rude and doesn't people he doesn't know. Unless you peek his interest then he might speak to you." Izuki shrugged.

"Hmmm I see" the animal grinned.

"Oh ok then can you tell me your names?" The detective asked.

"I'm Izuki Midoriya and this is my twin brother Izuku Midoriya"

"And the woman last night?" The pro said.

"Our mother"

"Ok, what happened last night and why did she attack you?" The detective asked.

"Our mother and step father have always been verbally and mentally abusive towards my brother. When our quirks manifested they felt like his was too weak.

My mom started to treat him like shit, wouldn't feed him, and would yell and insult him whenever he was around.

When we were 4 he stopped speaking altogether. He'd only use his quirk when alone or to heal me and our friends.

I'm still not sure why it's hard for him to form correct sentence's now.

The years of mental abuse and neglect caused him to develop Dependent Personality Disorder and Avoidant Personality Disorder.

When our stepdad left our mom a few months ago she started to physically abuse him a lot more. Since she knows he won't fight back unless she hurts me she'd wait until I wasn't around.

I found out when I came home early one day and she was beating him with a metal rod. After that I packed both our bags and took us to a motel.
