"Why are you bringing this up now?" Someone whisper yelled.

"I just feel like we handled things the wrong way..." A second voice said quietly.

"We?! You mean you! It was your idea! You don't get to have regrets!" The first voice yelled.

"But he-"

"But nothing! This is on you! I told you there was another way but you didn't listen! Mother knows best right?" The man chuckled darkly.

"You don't know shit and now I'm stuck with you. Did you even consider the possibility of them finding out?" He snapped.

"I- they won't find out, they're only children," The woman scowled.

"You better pray that they don't because if they do," The man once again chuckled darkly "for both your sake and mines I hope the cancer takes you out first." The man gave her a disgusted look.

"What happened to you? I thought you loved me?" The woman said in disbelief.

"How could I ever love you after what you made me do?" The man's voice wavered as the unpleasant memories filled his mind.

"We serve the commission. Our loyalty to them is more important than-"

"Than our family right?" The man cut her off.

"That isn't what I was going to say," She said sternly.

"You don't have to fucking say it Asuka! Your actions have made that very fucking clear! Once the boys turn 15 I'm leaving you and the commission. I want nothing to do with either of you." He said fed up.

Asuka narrowed her eyes, "Don't act like your innocent Haru. You can run and blame me all you want but we both know that you're just as bad.

Don't forget that you helped me, we did this together. So if I'm going down then you're going down with me." She growled.

"You tricked me, you said no one would get hurt. You said we were stopping him not killing him! I trusted you and you made a murderer! How could I not blame you for that!" He yelled.

"It had to be done! He betrayed the commission! You haven't even seen what he was hiding from them! From us! Look it's all right here!" She pointed behind her.

"What could have been so important that he had to die?!" Haru said trying to keep his emotions in check.

Asuka turned around to grab a large envelope. Her eyes widened seeing that the envelope was gone. She turned back to her husband now panicked.

"Where is it?!" She yelled, her fear slowly seeping in.

"Where's what?" Haru said over her bullshit.

"The envelope with his research! The commission officials are coming to collect it soon!" She panicked.
