Izuku
{Part 1.5}

We all made it to the second event and I leaned against Kacchan weakly. He placed his arm around my neck and kissed my temple.

"You feeling alright now?" Kacchan asked.

I nod, "I ok,"

"Alright students congratulations on making it to the second event! Unfortunately, only the top forty-two students of the last event will be advancing!" Midnight announced.

Several people complained that that was unfair but I didn't really care. I just played with Kacchans hand as Midnight spun the wheel once again.

"And~ our next event is a cavalry battle! Let me explain the rules!" Midnight announced.

The noise soon died down so that she could continue speaking.

"You all will form teams of two to four for this event and earn points by grabbing the headbands from the other teams. The number of points each person is worth depends on your placement in the obstacle race.

Midoriya who came in first is the exception meaning he is worth ten million points! The battle will be fifteen minutes long and the total value of each team will be the total accumulation of all the headbands taken.

The one wearing the headband will be the rider. The headbands can only be worn on the head or neck. If a team crumbles or loses a headband you are not out of the game. You have fifteen minutes to negotiate and team up!" Midnight yelled excitedly.

Instead of the other students becoming excited or determined they looked horrified. They knew that they had little to no chance of getting my headband. Which now meant they all were desperate to be on my team.

Those disgusting little insects have no right to try and leach off of me. At least the class knew they had no chance of being on my team and didn't try it. Shochan created an ice pillar forcing the students to jump back in shock. Kacchan blasted himself on top of it with his usual snarl.

"None of you extra's are coming anywhere near Deku so fuck off!" Kacchan growled.

My eyes flashed white and they all walked away now dejected. I turned to Uraraka who smiled at me as she focused on what I signed.

"You're on our team but you probably won't have to do much. We can handle everything so just support us when needed." I told her.

She rapidly nodded now determined, "Got it! I'll do my best to help us win!"

"Hey, Mido think you can go easy on us?" Kaminari asked hopefully.

I glanced at Uraraka and she nodded, "We're only going to keep you all away from us. We don't need the extra points so just focus on the others."

"He said that he doesn't intend to take anyone's headbands since we don't need them. We're staying on the defensive," Uraraka quietly told him so no one would over here.

Kaminari grew excited but stopped himself, "Can I please hug you?! You're so nice!"

If I keep saying no he'll just keep asking which is more annoying. I nod hesitantly and he excitedly wraps his arms around me. I tense up a little before carefully hugging the boy back.

His body is letting off small sparks, probably due to his excitement. They tingle but it isn't a bad sensation, I actually like the way I feel when my quirk reacts to his. Also, he smells like my favorite candy and I can't help melting into the hug.

I like how his hug feels, I think I'll let him hug me from now on. I bury my face in his chest and relax in his hold.

"Oh my God, that's so fucking cute! The one time I don't have my phone!" Mina says dramatically.
