Izuku
{Part 1}

The other students grow quiet as Midnight spins the wheel of events. Once it lands she begins to explain the rules of the event.

"Looks like the preliminary of this year's Sports Festival is going to be a nearly 4 km obstacle race around the stadium! Good look," She says excitedly.

Everyone begins heading for the starting line and I sign to the group as we stop at the front.

"I'll wait for you at the end,"

Kacchan grins at me, "We won't keep you waiting too long,"

Shochan smiles, "So don't fall asleep,"

"I'll make it there in no time," Uraraka smiles determinedly.

"Bro how are we supposed to beat Midoriya in a race!" Kaminari said dramatically.

"We can't so just make it to the top fifteen at least," Sero shrugged.

"Dude be more confident, we got this!" Kirishima grinned at him.

Kaminari sighed, "If you say so,"

The race suddenly started and I covered my ears as everyone raced ahead. They were way too fucking loud for me. Shochan created Ice freezing most people in place. Surprisingly the class didn't get trapped in it and followed after him and Kacchan.

"Looks like Todoroki isn't playing around!" Mic yelled.

My feet quickly heated up melting the ice around me. I closed my eyes and took a step forward. When I opened them I was at the finish line for the event. I yawned and sat down on the floor as I waited for everyone else to arrive.

"And just like that Midoriya is in first place having already reached the finish line! That has to be a new record, how did he do it?!" Mic yelled excitedly.

"You know exactly how," Aizawa deadpanned.

"It's called commentating Zawa, we are the commentators," Mic said blankly.

"I just want to sleep and cheer for Izuku," Aizawa said tiredly.

I turned towards the tower and waved up at him. He was most likely waving back at me.

"Oh my gosh, are you smiling?!"

"Why do you have to yell everything you say..."

"Sorry,"

I made a puddle of water float around as I entertained myself. I butterfly landed on my hand and I smiled at it. My mind momentarily grew hazy making my vision blur.

I sat the puddle down and deeply exhaled, my breath shaky. I remembered what Izuki used to tell me and closed my eyes. Meditation was stupid but it always seemed to work.

"I good," I mumbled to myself.

I can't give in or lose control, not here and definitely not around these people. I could feel my mouth salivating at the thoughts clouding my mind. I opened my eyes and began counting each blade of grass around me. A bird soon landed on my head as a squirrel sat near my knee tilting its head at me.

"I ok," I mumbled to them.

I took large deep breaths to calm my mind and remain calm. Why did this have to happen now of all times? I have to be good, I can't do bad things here.

It's alright Izuku, just hold out a little longer...

My eyes moved around rapidly but I soon realized it was only his voice I heard. He was not here with me, I was still by myself.
