I have decided to do something different and put a filler a.k.a background chapter in the middle of this one in the form of a flashback. Do. Not. Skip. It.

This symbol (~•~) means flashback so remember that.

Remember the timeline errors from chapter 18? Well this chapters flashback is the second one and is important for the plot later on so pay attention to the details.😉

Luckily for Izuku Nezu was very understanding. After Izuku crying and apologizing to the point of coughing up blood how could he not accept? They had a long talk and Nezu agreed to keep it between them if Izuku worked on his anger and quirk control.

They didn't tell him everything but Nezu understood that the commission had ill intentions for the twins. He promised that he had no idea and that he would never help them get to Izuku.

Izuku wanted to prove that he was good, he wanted them to believe that he was not a monster. So he healed Yagi's wound but refused to tell them how. Aizawa made him swear to never use that ability again after it badly injuring him.

Even Izuki had showed up in a near-death state having also been affected. Izuku flat-lined a few times in the hospital after collapsing. The twins slept for days after that. Aizawa had to keep Izuki hidden away until he woke up.

Izuku stood to the side as class 1-A trained. The UA sports festival was fast approaching and they all wanted to win. Because of Izuku's extended absence, he was at a disadvantage. They didn't think he'd be able to control his output by then.

Yagi walked over with a displeased look on his face. Because he was asleep he had no idea what Izuku went through to heal him. And because Izuku nearly killed them both he left the man continue to treat him poorly with zero retaliation.

He felt he deserved it for nearly killing the man and his brother. In truth, Izuku hasn't been the same since he woke up.

Yagi was upset that he had been ordered to help Izuku. The boy made him uncomfortable and he wanted nothing to do with him.

"Alright, I want you to cut that boulder in half," Yagi told him.

Izuku nodded and lifted his hand as his eyes turned white. A large burst of energy left his palm shooting in that direction. The boulder along with the ground and the large pillars behind it split in half. Everyone yelped and ran from the area in surprise and fear.

Yagi angrily turned to the boy, "Are you stupid or something?! I said split the boulder not the entire training area! Do you think I like wasting my time with you? Listen and get it right so we can both be done with this! Just because you healed me doesn't mean I trust you."

Izuku flinched at his harsh tone and looked down, "S-sorry,"

Yagi pinched the bridge of his nose, "Try again and do it right this time,"

Izuku nodded and lifted his hand once again. He focused on a singular boulder and released it. The boulder erupted into multiple pieces making people move away again. Izuku immediately grew scared having messed up again.

"S-sorry!" Izuku's voice trembled.

Yagi angrily turned to Izuku and lifted his clenched fist slightly. Izuku's eyes widened a little and he quickly backed away tripping over a piece of rock and falling. Yagi stopped and took a step back.

"Let's stop for today," He mumbled walking away.

Uraraka who was the closest to them rushed over to Izuku helping him up.
