We hadn't been kissing for long when we were interrupted by somebody clearing their throat to get our attention, the certain somebody whose name I still did not know because I forgot the moment he told me. I didn't really care to know his name either. "Kyle, you and Janna are going to go out on a date in about ten minutes so I suggest that you get ready."

I was about to protest but Dan pressed his lips to mine before I could argue, getting an eye roll from the man who left the room in disgust. Once he was gone, Dan pulled back to look at me, smiling slightly. "Just go on the date, it isn't real and we both know that. That's all that matters, right? This is what's real."

"You're so cute," I mumbled softly as I began to smile. "I promise one day that I'm going to take you out on a date and it'll be perfect. We just have to wait until things die down a bit. I'll do what management wants and hopefully they'll slowly start to approve of us."

Dan nodded and pulled himself off of my lap so I could get up, "Now you need to go get ready. I would give Janna a chance, don't be an ass to her at first because you never know, she could help us in the long run. Let's just see what happens."

About a half an hour later, management had dropped us off at some fancy restaurant in the city we were in and our food had finally arrived. I didn't talk to Janna that much, there was only some small talk here and there, mainly about the weather. At the table, it was dead silent except for the sounds of our silverware hitting the glass plate as we were putting food on it until she spoke up, "So, are you and Dan a thing now?"

I stared at my plate with my eyebrows furrowed. Were we a thing? We hadn't quite made it official and I wasn't sure if he wanted to right now. I mean, it was kind of like cheating if I was going out on dates with somebody else, whether I was being forced to go on the date or not. "I.. Um.. It's not official, no but I'd like it to be. Hopefully soon it'll be official."

She smiled softly, "that's cute. Do you think you'll be the one to ask him out or do you think he'll ask before you get a chance? Also, are you going to try to take him on a date sometime soon, behind managements back?"

I didn't see why that was any of her business, but I continued to answer the questions anyway. It'd be rude if I didn't and Dan would most likely want me to answer them. "I.. I don't know. I would like to ask him out, but if he asks first, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I mean, either way he would be mine and yeah, I'll try to take him out on a date sometime. I just have to make a plan, you know?"

She nodded as she ate a bite of spaghetti, showing that she was listening. Once she swallowed the bite, she took a drink of water then spoke again. "Aww. Well, I hope things all work out for you. Let's hurry and finish eating so you can get back to him. I'm sure he wants to have you around before the show. I don't want you to not have any free time before you have to go on stage."

I nodded and we continued to sit in silence while we finished eating until I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. She looked up at me and I quickly pulled out my phone, seeing it was a text. "Hold on, I'm sorry. It's probably Dan." I opened up the text to see it wasn't from Dan, it was from  management. "As you're leaving, kiss her then hold hands all the way back to the car. If you don't, we'll find out and we'll make you do a lot worse."

I dropped my phone which must've gotten her attention because she jumped in her seat slightly. "Kyle, what's wrong?? What did Dan say?" I shook my head and handed her my phone so she could read the message, "Kyle... I'm so sorry.. Oh my god. We'll make the kiss quick and I'll reassure Dan that it means nothing, alright?"

I nodded and took my phone back, not noticing that she had deleted the text. I set a tip down on the table along with the cost of the meal as I stood up. "Let's just get this over with. There aren't many paparazzi here and I want it to stay that way. I don't want any pictures of the kiss taken."

I took her hand and led her outside the restaurant, kissing her quickly then leading her out to the car where one of the guys was waiting to take us back to the arena. "I'm going to go talk to Dan once we get there, if that's okay. I want him to know that my intentions are not to steal you away or anything like that, I want to help you both. I want to assure him of how much you love him, but I think it'd be best if you let me talk to him alone. We don't want to seem like we're ganging up on him or anything like that. The conversation should just be between him and I."

I let go of her hand as I climbed into the car, she did the same. "Yeah, you can talk to him. I think that'd be a great idea," I smiled while responding, assuming I could trust her.
