Chapter Two
We were attacking each other’s mouths, in the process his hands were hesitating around the bottom of my skirt. I started to fumble through his buttons, breaking a nail in the process. I groaned. Damn it. He started to unzip the back of my dress and took it off, I pulled off his white shirt and threw it somewhere. He pulled off his faded black jeans and his underwear in the process. I felt my jaw drop at the size of his abs. I put my arms around his neck and sat on his lap. He pushed me over so my back was on the bed and he held my wrists down. This was uncomfortable. All the passion, all the lust was gone. Suddenly I felt pain in my wrists, the same pain in a Chinese burn. I felt completely and utterly exposed as he ripped of my clothes and underwear. We were connected but I stayed as still as a statue. I closed my eyes, ashamed.
I opened my eyes. Soon my Mum would come into my room and shake my bed to wake me up. I felt pain in my wrists (and other unmentionable places). I groaned. Ouch! Suddenly my memory came back to me from last night. I shuddered.
I felt his hands stroke my shoulder. “Hey babe.” He kissed my neck. “Last night was very, very romantic.”
I ripped his arm of my shoulder. “Don’t touch me.” I snarled.
“That wasn’t what you were saying last night.” He grinned. “You enjoyed it right?”
“No!” I hissed. “You forced yourself on me!”
“You lead me on first!” He snarled.
“Yeah I know. Didn’t you feel me stiffen, didn’t you hear my cries, didn’t you notice me trying to pull you off?” I hissed back at him. I jumped out of bed, pulling the covers with me, and collected my dress. I bet he was going to go to school and brag to all of his friends. Like all boys.
“Wait! Mols! Wait!” He called after me.
“Don’t want to hear it. Leave me alone.” I shouted. I saw Ezza in the hallway. She was clutching her forehead.
“Hangover. Keep it down please.” Ezza groaned. “Hey, what’s going on? I saw you and Ollie together in my Mum and Dad’s bed.” Ewww.
“Nothing’s going on.” I said too quickly.
“I know you Molly. Something’s up.” Ezza said, her eyes full of concern. I hesitated.
“Ollie and I. We kinda...”
“I get it!” She grinned. She waggled her eyebrows. “I knew it!!!”
“He forced himself on me.” I said quickly. “I mean I encouraged him but I told him to stop.” She put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
“I’m so sorry.” She comforted me. “That must have been heartbreaking, to feel all the passion for it to be ruined.”
“I know. It did. I loved him. I really did.” I started to sob. My Mum was going to be so angry.
I walked home, tripping and shuffling along in my high heels and short dress. My makeup was probably all smudged with tears and I probably looked a wreak. When I opened the front door Mum was there.
“And where have you been? You left over eighteen hours ago.” She hissed. “You look terrible. Go and have a bath and a nap. Ew. You stink of booze! You’ve been drinking.” She slapped me hard across the face. I cupped my cheek as it burned. “Get up those stairs. You make me sick.” I flinched at the venom in her voice.
I ran the warm water into the bath. My face still burned. I couldn’t believe that Mum had slapped me like that. She wasn’t the gentle, kind creature I knew before. She was an evil, ferocious cow.
“Mummy said you’re in tonnes of trouble.” Emily sang. She pulled a teasing expression.
“P*** off!” I shouted. I was in lodes of trouble anyway, may as well get into more.
Emily was very, very shocked. “Er-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” She held on to the syllable. “Molly just swore.”
I jumped into the bath and leaned back into the warm, soothing water. I felt clean again, my wrists ached less, my face no longer burned and unmentionable places no longer felt wrong. Although I could never get what I lost back, what had been taken from me and what I had taken from Ollie, I felt a bit more cleaner.
I rubbed in my favourite shampoo, Loreal. The familiar scent of roses and grapes filled the air around me.
