With everything finally have ending, even though Monroe was still running and recruiting, it was time for the pack to celebrate. Everything was fine, happy. And Beacon Hills was as normal as it could ever get.
After everything that had happened, everyone knew it would be impossible to hide the supernatural world, so instead of hiding away, they embraced their new life and so did those around them.
Liam, Mason, Nolan, and Cory were accepted again at the school. Liam was consistently asked about being a werewolf and what it was like. Cory was asked frequently how he was what he was, which he still wasn't sure how to answer. Mason was being praised most of the time with knowing more than the other two boys, but that was normal. Nolan was asked many questions about his transition from bad to good, a lot of people curious if it was all just a rouse to get close to the others to finish them off.
Another thing about Beacon Hills that had changed was Theo Raeken. After taking the pain of Gabe in the hospital, the pack accepted him more and he was finally brave enough to return to school to finish it off. He was supposed to have graduated the year prior with Scott, Malia, Stiles, and Lydia, but after being locked away in hell and then living out of his truck, he wasn't able to meet the criteria.
Theo was also getting mass amounts of attention. From people wondering about what he was to others wanting to just be with him. That was what made being the five of them so difficult. Everyone now wanted to be friends with the supernatural group, even faking some stuff to try and be like them.
With the war being over, Stiles was able to return to DC to continue his FBI training. Malia went off to Paris like she had originally planned, even though it wasn't what she was hoping it to be. Lydia went away to college as she had planned, glad to finally be able to leave. But Scott, on the other hand.
Scott decided to stay in Beacon Hills. He knew Liam had what it took to be an alpha, but it wasn't about that. The alpha wasn't quite ready to let go and move on. He continued to work along side Deaton at the animal clinic while helping Coach Finstock train the lacrosse team. Liam and Nolan being co-captains was good, making training just that much easier.
Things were going well for everyone from that point on. The pack was still as strong as before and was growing stronger, even with Monroe unknown to them. It was nice to feel like this were somewhat normal.

It had been a few weeks since classes had resumed. Theo was back in school, hanging out with himself mostly, but part of him wanted to expand on his friends. He was now apart of Scott's pack officially, contemplating Scott's offer of the bite, but that didn't change how the others looked at him. Mason, Cory, and Liam still acted like he was a monster sometimes. Nolan was the only person to talk to him regularly, even though he and Liam had grown close throughout the last year or two.
Theo sat at one of the many empty lunch tables, eating an extremely dry and bland tasting chicken sandwich with stale fries and apple sauce that smelled more unnatural than the male really was. Taking another bite of the burger, Theo glanced up as someone sat across from him. Nolan smiled at him slightly, both of them clearly confused why he had sat there.
"I, uh," Nolan started as he pointed towards where the other three were sitting. "They wanted me to come and get you." Nolan was still extremely shy around Theo after hearing all he had done the year before. He had apologized repeatedly, realizing a lot of what he was doing was fueled by rage and not what he truly wanted. Rage and power. Control that he didn't have before.
Sighing, Theo looked down at his plastic tray of food. He wasn't really that hungry, so it was fine. Standing up, the chimera chugged the rest of the chocolate milk that was in the carton that everyone got before walking over to the other three males, Nolan close at his heels. He had left his tray on the table, not intending to return to it to deposit of its contents. "You guys wanted to see me?"
Liam turned around, smiling his usual smile at the chimera before looking at Nolan. "This was your idea too, so don't put it on us." Liam looked back to Theo before shrugging. "We want you to join the lacrosse team with us. Mine, Nolan's, and Scott's idea. Coach is looking for new members and we know you're strong and fast. What do you say?" Liam locked eyes with the chimera, recognizing the look he was getting. Irritation and confusion.
"I thought you guys hated me," Theo told the beta, looking between Cory and Mason who were chatting quietly on the opposite side of the table.
"Cory doesn't like you," Liam corrected before standing up and looking Theo in the eyes. They were both the exact same height, standing at a whopping 5 foot 8 inches. "We need people who can play good. Meet me after school on the field. Scott is gonna be there with balls and a stick for you to try with. If you're good, you're trying out. If not, you can forget this ever happened."
It's not like the chimera had anything better to do anyways. He snorted, partially irritated at the idea that Scott and Liam wanted him to participate in sports, but it was the least he could do. "Fine. But no one else better be there."
"Cory is goalkeeper and Mason will be in the stands while Nolan observes from the sidelines. We gotta figure out which position you fit the best." Liam smiled at the chimera before grabbing his backpack and putting one of the straps over his right shoulder. "See you there."
Almost as if it was queued, Nolan, Cory, and Mason all followed Liam out of the cafeteria, leaving Theo to stand awkwardly in the middle of the cafeteria with people giving him weird looks. Returning to his tray, he grabbed his school bag and walked out shortly afterwards. He knew he was going to regret joining, but if Scott wanted him on the team, than who's to say he shouldn't give it a shot.
