After what happened with Derek, Theo found it difficult not to stay close to Liam as he hoped something would happen between the two eventually. Melissa soon accepted that Liam was going to be living with them for awhile and started calling the spare room Liam's room as well as Theo's.
Isaac wasn't planning to leave for awhile, either. With the help of Chris, Isaac got a job as the restaurant that Liam and Theo had their date at and started to help around the house more even though he was going to be living from a dresser in the closet and sleeping on the couch.
Theo was still getting used to being a complete part of the pack, as well. He wasn't used to being accepted by everyone, especially Malia, so being called part of the family made the male extremely happy and relaxed.
Lydia continued to help Theo, giving him lessons and ways to improve on different subjects in school. Some teachers even noticed it and asked if he knew Lydia before realizing exactly who he was. It was common to find people who weren't completely sure about the pack and group, but most people knew and understood.
Theo also finally had a group at school. He would hang out with Mason, Corey, Nolan, and Liam whenever he could. He would have lunch with them and even wait for Liam at his locker regularly. Theo began to notice all of the looks the pack got, some people mesmerized by them and others disgusted still. He wasn't surprised about either.
The beta even started getting asked out by random girls a lot as he became more confident in himself. He was hot, a werewolf, and a starter on the lacrosse team. This was the first year in many that they were making it to the championships for the sport.
Theo also noticed how some girls would try and flirt with Liam but before he could ever step in, Liam would either say he wasn't interested or was already talking to someone. After each occurrence, he would smile at Theo as if it wasn't obvious to the world even though they barely acted more than friends besides sharing a bed. They hadn't even kissed since the day Theo woke up, and that was why he couldn't get the older wolf off his mind most days.
As the day drew closer, though, Scott started to train Theo on how to easily hide himself, making it less obvious he was a werewolf by scent and obvious features. Theo also noticed Scott slowly letting Liam take control of their group often. Liam had a little pack of his own within the larger one.
Theo was sitting in his math class as he was reading through some of Lydia's notes before the bell rang. Collecting his stuff, the beta stood up and walked into the hallway only to be met with Liam smiling brightly at him. "What's the smile for? You never smile at me."
"I just got us tickets to a concert in San Francisco the night after our first game," Liam told him with a smile. "I noticed how you have every single Imagine Dragons album saved on your phone and listen to them constantly and found out they were having a show."
The largest smile crossed Theo's lips as he rushed forward, wrapping his arms tightly around Liam as he heard their back crack. Letting go, he kissed Liam right on the cheek before watching the other beta go bright red. "You have no idea how happy you can make me, do you?"
Liam turned and began to walk towards the lunch room, knowing that Theo was going to be hungry. They didn't have breakfast that morning before leaving because they decided to sleep in a little bit. "They're nearly front row and cost a bunch of money. But the pack who's thinking about relocating here? One of them is working the show and managed to get me two tickets for cheap because he has a family discount and Scott said you'd kill him if he didn't try to get you one. So, Scott got everyone one. But, you and me are closer because I asked if we'd be able to get closer and I didn't want you to get lonely."
"I see why Hayden loved you," Theo told Liam with a wide smile. Had Liam not been so shotty with how he felt, Theo would've grabbed his hand just then and never let it go until he had to. "Tomorrow we have no classes because we have to leave, right?"
"Exactly." Liam turned towards Theo, walking backwards. "Tomorrow we leave almost as soon as we get to school to go and get settled. We're given hotel rooms for free by the school for tomorrow night after the game, unless you signed saying you were going home with someone. The following night, the pack is going to the concert and we're staying another night and we're coming home on Sunday."
"Who's all going?"
"Of course, us. Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia, Isaac, Corey, Nolan, Mason, and I believe Scott talked Derek into going. He said he needed out of town for a bit so he's going to be there."
Theo's heart stuttered as he realized Derek was going. "How'd they manage to get that many tickets cheap?"
"Beats me," Liam spoke with a smile. "All I know is we're going to have the best weekend of our lives so far by winning our first championship game and then celebrate our victory with a concert from your favorite band."
And Liam was right. They were going to have the best weekend. As lunch ended and the two had to go their separate ways, Theo couldn't think as he thought that Derek was going to be there. But what would happen if Scott saw something? With that, Theo had to stick with Liam. Him and Derek was just a full moon thing. Something that came and that was gone.
