It seemed the guards and doctors had been warned of your hostile nature, so after you'd changed into a plain dark blue top and matching trousers, you'd been locked in an interrogation room.  Handcuffes securely attached to the table. You absently hummed to yourself pulling your chain through the ring on the table creating an annoying clinking sound.

Taking your free time to look around the room, you noticed a camera watching you in the right corner of the white walls. You wiggled your fingers towards it in a waving motion, getting more comfortable in your chair.

This was boring.

After another couple of minutes of silence, the white door made a beeping sound as if someone had swiped a security card on the lock. It opened with a switching noise revealing a guard followed closely by a lab assistant, they both went into the corners of the room and waited patiently. Ava Paige was the next to enter the room, her head held high with a triumphant look of pleasure on her face, next was the asshole himself, Ratman followed by. . .

"Teresa?" You questioned sitting up straighter in your chair as the door closed behind her and she stood beside Ava, not making eye contact with you, "Traitor."

"Don't immediately attack her," Ava ordered casually, sitting in the chair opposite you, making sure she wasn't in your kicking range, even with no shoes on, you'd probably still be able to make her limp for a few days, "She was just doing what she thought was right, the lesser of two evils."

"There is no good and evil, there is only how you perceive it."

"It's a matter of opinion."

"Well, her opinion is irrelevant to me," you spat angrily gritting your teeth.

"Enough, we haven't got time to argue about this with you," Ratman started talking crossing his arms. You were pleased to see he was slouching slightly as if his stomach was really hurting. "We want to know the location of the rest of the immune rebels."

You couldn't help but laugh, "What makes you think I'm going to tell you? You'll threaten me with pain, death, you'll say you won't hurt my friends if I tell you where they are even though we both know it's a lie. So sorry, but I'm not that easy. Unlike some people." That comment was meant for Teresa even though you didn't look at her.

Ratman looked as if he wanted to argue with you, but Ava spoke first. "You're content to watch the majority of the human race die to the flare, children die of a disease they don't understand and families get torn apart."

She was trying to guilt-trip you, but it wasn't going to work.

"You tore my family apart and anyway. There's no difference."

"I told you she wouldn't speak," Teresa spoke up keeping her hands deep in her lab coat pockets and her gaze on the floor.

You tipped your head to the side agreeing with her, but not speaking. You had to be strong, they'd use any means necessary to get you to talk, but you knew you had to keep your mouth shut.

There was a tense silence. None of them seemed to be sure how to approach the situation. It was clear you weren't going to tell them and didn't care what they did to you but they wanted the location of the base so badly.

"May I make a recommendation?" Ratman spoke. You decided now would be a good time to start clanking your chains against the metal ring again so his words were inaudible. He turned to you an ugly expression on his ugly face, "Can you shut her up?"

You sniggered as the guard grabbed one of your hands preventing you from playing with your chains. Ratman sighed deeply and continued, "Shouldn't we add her to the list of strong immunes and just use her to find a cure? She'd be more useful."
