after i had successfully managed to chop up the rest of the vedgetables i helped molly out with the rest of the food. we spread it out across a large table in the garden under a gazibo. after we did that, i went up to get ready. i put on one of my favourite dresses and did my hair and makeup.

"come on y/n party's started" i heard ron say from outside the room.

"okay i'm coming!" i said as i put my other earring in.

"what now?" i said as ron raised his eyebrows after i'd opened the door.

"you just look.. good" he said.

"why thank you ronald" i said with a smile. i linked his arm and headed down the stairs and out into the garden. i went round speaking to everyone, i knew majority of rons family because of how close we were so it wasn't awkward.

"hello sweetie, how are you? god your beautiful!" rons aunt said to me.

"hi i'm good! thankyou so much" i smiled as she hugged me.

"i see you and ron are finally together" she said with a large smile.

"oh n-no we're not.. we're not together" i stuttered.

"oh i just saw you two linking i didn't know if there was anything going on yet" she continued.

"no i don't think that's gonna happen. ron would never like me" i said with a half hearted smile.

"don't be silly! you should see the way you two look at eachother" she said.

"i don't know about that" i laughed nervously.

"what you two talking about?" ron said as he walked over to me.

"oh nothing, i'll see you later dears" she smiled and walked away.

"what was she going on about?" ron chuckled.

"non of your business! girl talk" i giggled.

"come on" ron said.

"where?" i asked.

"somewhere" ron said. i didn't bother questioning him any further and agreed. he put his hand in mine and we started walking.

"this is the way to the river"  i said as we walked.

"yep" ron said. i didn't question and we carried on walking.

"i cant believe we're in our 5th year of hogwarts now" i said.

"me too, can you believe we've known eachother for four years already? cant believe i've put up with you for that long" ron joked. i slapped him lightly on the arm.

"oh you know you love me" i said jokingly. we both laughed, suddenly, we were at the tree by the river and there was a blanket laid down with a picnic basket on top of it.

"did you do this!?" i asked excitedly.

"no harry did" he said. i turned around and looked at him with a confused face until he cracked. "i'm kidding, of course i did" he smiled.

"i love this" i said as i sat down, practically beaming.

"i knew you would" ron replied. we both dug into the strawberries he had packed.

suddenly i felt something touching the side of my leg, i turned around to see the same bunny that had made me jump. "oh my god! look" i said with a smile. i picked it up and put it in my arms.

"it's so cute" i said while stroking its fur.

"not scared anymore?" ron teased.

"nope, we should name her" i suggested.

"erm, what about flopsy" ron said.

"ron that is the most basic bunny name ever" i laughed. "but she suits it doesn't she? she looks like a flopsy?" i said as i moved closer to ron and held her up to his face.

"yeah sure" he laughed.

"i feel like a mum" i said as i fed her some of the strawberry. ron simply laughed at me and carried on eating, as always. we were to busy talking about flopsy to notice the sun was going down. i took her of my legs and let her go. "see you soon flopsy" i said calmly as i watched her hop away.

"this is my favourite part of the day" i said with a large smile as i looked up at the sky, i rested my head on rons shoulder and moved closer. he put his arm around my waist.

"what? the sun set or being with me" he teased.

"well, both" i moved my head to be facing his face, he smiled and i couldn't help my eyes darting from his eyes to his lips, and he was doing the same thing. before we knew it, we were leaning in.
