me and ron took the last two empty seats at the table and began to eat our food.

"so as you lot know, the burrow isn't the biggest, so we've had to improvise. we've put in an extra double bed into rons room" molly said, smiling at us.

"yeah that's fine!" hermione said, we all nodded in agreement and got back to eating. once we had finished, everyone headed up to bed. taking turns, we all headed into the bathroom to change into our pyjamas. obviously, me and hermione were sharing the other bed. although, i think harry would of liked to swap with me.

"goodnight everyone" ron said before propping himself up to turn the lamp off. we pretty much fell asleep instantly, but i was the first awake. it was about 5:30am when i woke up, i grabbed my dressing gown from my bag and slowly crept out the bedroom. i walked out the back door and sat in the grass to wait for the sun to rise. not long after i'd sat down i heard ruffling behind me, i turned around to see ron. i gave him a small smile and he sat down beside me.

"so, what you doing?" he said, leaning back and propping his arms up for support.

"waiting" i didn't move my stare from the sky.

"for?" he sat up.

"that!" i shouted, pointing at the pinks and reds coming over the horizon. "oh ron, isn't it beautiful?" i lay my head on his shoulder, admiring the sky.

"yeah..beautiful" his eyes didn't move of me as he said this. i looked up and gave him a small smile, causing his stare to stop. we sat for a few moments in silence, just taking in our surroundings. we must of been there awhile because the whole house was now awake.

"morning sweethearts! breakfast is ready!" molly shouted from the burrow.

"coming mum!" ron shouted back. he stood up and offered his hand, i took it and used him to pull myself up.

"this looks amazing molly" i said, taking in all the different scents of chocolate and ginger.

"thankyou dear, tuck in" she smiled widely before sitting down. after breakfast, we headed into rons room.

"i'm bored" i said honestly.

"me too" harry added.

"and me" hermione also said.

"same, what should we do?" ron asked.

"hide and seek" i offered, i knew it was considered a kiddy game, but no one else seemed to think of anything.

"yeah why not" ron opened his door. "ginny! percy! george! fred!" he shouted. they all came running up.

"fancy a game of hide and seek?" he asked. they all nodded.

"we'll do teams" george stated. "me and freddie will go with ginny, hermione and harry, and you and y/n"

"oh and percy you can count" he added.

"to 60" ron said.

"okay, 1..2.." he began.

"come on!" ron grabbed my hand and we ran out the bedroom, running all around the burrow to find a good spot.

"coming!" we heard percy shout from the bedroom.

"shit shit, wait, here!" ron waved his wand and a door appeared under the stair case. he quickly got in and i followed sharp behind.

"bit small init?" ron smirked. i was sat between his legs. i turned around and pressed my finger to rons lips, mouthing "shh" as i did so. once we saw percy walk outside we relaxed a little.

"do you recon we'll win?" i whispered.

"yeah i think so, we work well together dont we?" he said. hearing him talk about us and use the word 'together' in the same sentence took me aback, i know that's not what he meant, but all the same, that's how my ears decided to hear it. i didn't reply and ron stared at me weirdly.

"y/n? you alright?" he asked.

"oh yeah, fine, i'm fine" i said quickly, thank god it was dark in that cupboard so he couldn't see my bright red cheeks. i'm not sure why i was thinking like this, rons said sentences like that in the past what haven't bothered me. why all of a sudden did things feel different? i decided that later on i would go for a walk in the fields to try sort myself out, and figure out what was eating away at me.
