Power Struggle

Chapter Thirty

  "Help Sean, I got this guy." Taz said as he walked over to Ethan.

  "I'll report to the headmaster, tell him we have another on school grounds." John said running towards the headmaster's office.

  Sera and Shannon immediately went to Sean who was bleeding from the head.

  "Its not bad," he said. "I'll be fine."

  "What happened here?" Sera asked.

  "He came in spouting shit about how I was supposed to be to one in Gianna's place, in the infirmary." Sean paused. "Then he said I should just die like I was supposed to and he attacked me. We are pretty evenly matched level wise, but damn is he hard to hit. That smoke can kill my clones."

  Meanwhile in the infirmary, as Taz walks in the doc does not look happy.

  "You have got to be fucking kidding me." He said.

  "Listen doc, we think he's a spy, like Terrence."

  "What makes you think that?" The doctor said putting his coffee down on his desk.

  "He attacked Sean, and was talking bout how he should just die like he was supposed to."

  "Well thats definitely strange." The doctor said. "Put him over there." He pointed to an empty bed.

  As Taz did as he was told the door to the infirmary flew open.

  "Darren. Start making as many tonics as possible!" Keene said.

  "What? Why?"

  "We have company,  and they want to fight John." Keene replied.

  "Shit, he's going to kill them!" Taz said. "Were are they?"

  "East enterence." Keene said.

  "Thanks." Taz said as he sprinted out of the infirmary and down the hall. When he came to the window overlooking the east entrance he saw John, Sera, and Shannon as well as a group of at least fifteenth other people.

  "Hey whats going on?" Isen said as he and Blyke came walking around the corner.

  "We were right. Terrence is an operative. Project Phoenix. They want something called pillars,  three of our four royals pillars,  and I'd assume the group at the gate is here for them." Taz said as he slid the window open.

  "Your not actually going to jump out are you?" Isen said reaching his arm forward.

"Yup, I am, I hear you too make the best snipers duo around, so do me a favor, back us up from here." Before isen or Blyke could respond Taz had jumped from the window. Hitting the ground he immediately put his hands in his pockets and nonchalantly walked up to John and the other royals.

  "Bout time you showed up." John said.

  "Sorry, fill me in, what do band of misfits want?" Taz responded.

  "Us."
 
   "Us?" Taz asked.

   "No. Just them, we don't care about you."

   "Now hold on just one minute." Taz said Stepping forward and removing his hands from his pockets. "Your not taking my friends anywhere with me, I want to come to the party too."

  "Shut up." The individual who spoke the first time said. Three guys behind him moved around and started to approach Taz.

  "Stay back or shoot someone."

  "Go ahead, shoot. We're all expendable anyway."

  "If you insist."Taz said powering up.

  From the window Isen and Blyke watched as everything unfolded. Seeing Taz power up Blyke readied to take a shot.

   "I don't recall inviting your friends to get involved." The leader said glancing towards the open window.

  "Bold of you to assume I have more then three friends."  John said.

  "Dont make jokes. We can easily dispose of the only thing you want."

  "You might want to come up with a better reason. Your not strong enough to take us. Your a probing team, you're here to check Wellston's defenses." Taz said.

  "Very well." The leader said

  "I want to know one thing first." John said. "Where is my father."

  "And why do you think we'd tell you."

  "Because we'd just kill you." Taz said.

  "No you wouldn't, we have what you want."

  Taz raised his arm into the air and snapped. A red lazer immediately came from the window and hit one of the men in the leg.

  "Who said your friends could get involved." The leader said.

  "Nobody. But luckily for me, they aren't my friends." John said. Before anyone could say anything he punched the leader in face. He hit the ground with a thud.

  The royals powered up and made their stand. It didn't last long, as Taz had predicted they had not real force, they were a scout group. The royals made short work of them. They immediately began taking unconscious individuals to the headmaster. Him and Keene would set out to interigate them.

I know, I know. Its a shorter chapter. I'm sorry. I would just like to Thank everyone who continues to read and vote on each chapter. I honestly expected this to die after 10 or so chapters.
