Lani's pov:

February 3 2021

I may or may not have gotten sick. It isn't covid or anything but I feel fatigued, my stomach is hurting, I have these continuous headaches. It just all is so annoying. It hurts to walk or even stand up so Vinnie has been taking care of me.

Vinnie picked me up (bridal style) and plopped me onto the bathroom counter. He turned around when I changed (even though we're dating). I walked over to the tub and sat down. I was hugging my legs and Vinnie just dumped water over me little by little. I know this is unnecessary but he wanted to. "Is the water too hot, bub?" he softly asked. I shook my head no and he just continued. He did funny hairstyles when he was putting shampoo in my hair. He was laughing and eventually stopped.

He finished up and got me out of the tub. He handed me my clothes and left so I could change. I walked out and frowned at the outfit he gave me. "What? I think you look adorable." he insisted and waddled over and hugged me. He gave me a ridiculous looking pajama dress with a maid print on it. We just laughed about it and he made me pose for him. He picked me up and dropped me onto the bed. He knew I could likely get him sick but still stayed with me. That's what I love about him. He's willing to do whatever for his loved ones. We watched anime together and he made tik toks whenever I started throwing up. Okay it was one time but it was hilarious.

He showed me the videos he got of me and asked if he could post them. "Huh? No way they're gonna think I was intoxicated." I mumbled and hid my face in his chest. "I'll just put the caption as hanging with the bae, she's kinda sicky! Duh." he argued back sarcastically. I gave in and just watched him post it. He went live and was showing his fans that he was brushing my hair. "She's sick and I wanted to help out. I'd do anything for this girl." he smiled at the camera and then to me.

He gave me a kiss and left my bed. He probably went into the kitchen or something. I got up (wanting to go and look for Vin) and wobbled around for a minute. The room was spinning and I threw up into my trash can. "Gross. Vinnie!" I yelled and wiped my mouth. "Aw buttercup, you need to rest. Sorry you guys, I gotta help Lani. Bye!" he ran into my room and moved me over to my bed. He cleaned up my face and took the trash can outside.

He came back and sat besides me. He rubbed my cheek and kissed my forehead. "Just rest, my love. I'll be back at five. Kio will be right across the hall if you need anything." he told me and waved goodbye. I fell asleep again but kept waking up. I called for Kio and he came walking in. He sprayed Lysol into the air before he completely came in. I gave him a "really?" expression and he shrugged at me. "My head hurts, can you get my ibuprofen or some shit like that?" I asked and he delivered. He watched me take it and then left. I facetimed Vinnie because I was lonely and tired.

Call with Vinnie:

Vinnie: What's wrong? How are you feeling?

Me: Nothing is wrong and I'm fine. It's almost five when are you coming back, my love?

Vinnie: Uh Thomas asked me to help him renovate the room real quick. I'll be there at 5:30. I promise, buttercup

Me: But I'm sickk!

Vinnie: Yes I know, buttercup. It'll be real quick.

Me: Fine but if you get here later, I'm pouting at you the whole time.

I hung up and turned my tv back on. I had another massive headache and I just cried about it. I heard the front door open and listened for Vinnie's footsteps. It was him! "Buttercup, why are you crying?" he comforted me, rubbing my cheek. "My head hurts like hell. The ibuprofen that Kio gave me STILL hasn't kicked in. Everything is so loud!" I whispered, wiping my face. He turned the tv off and laid beside me. He rubbed my temples like he was doing something. I didn't say anything about it not working but he wanted to help. So I let him. I hope I'll be fine by the sixth because Vinnie and I are doing this special Valentine's challenge.
