Valentine's Day!

Lani's pov:

I woke up at 10am and did my morning routine. I decided to call Vinnie whilst I waited. He answered after the last ring (rude).

Call with Vinnie:

Vinnie: Hi darling.

Me: Ooh, darling? That's new! I love it.

Vinnie: I'm glad, anyways I'll pick you up at around 3 today, bubs.

Me: YAY! Bubs, can I please get a hint?

Vinnie: Sure..stars.

Me: Oh, stars? I fucking love it and I don't have a single idea of what it is.

Vinnie: You're the best thing I have right now. I love you. I have to go prepare some shit for later today. So I gotta hand up, sorry bubs :(

Me: Oh it's fine! I love you bye baby. And you are my world.

I blew a kiss and hung up. It was nearly 11am so I went into the kitchen to eat. Kio was sitting by the counter, eating cereal. "Yo, Kio. You never told me if you had a valentine. So do you?" I said, grabbing the apple juice. I poured myself a glass and waited for Kio to answer me. "Well, no. But Mochi technically is. I was just going to watch movies in my room with him." he said, sipping the milk from his bowl. I chuckled and put the juice away. "What are you and Vinnie going to be doing?" he questioned, washing his bowl.

"I actually don't know what we're doing. He said it's a surprise. But he did give me a hint. Something related to stars?" I explained. He snapped his neck at me, "Stars? Are you dull minded? It's obvious. Remember your 17th? We watched the stars!" I realized that he was right. I patted his head and thanked him. I grabbed a protein bar and left the kitchen. I started thinking of how I should do my makeup. Vinnie told me to wear the dress, the necklaces, and the ring. The color scheme is black, silver, and emerald. So, I have to do something related to that. It was still too early to get ready. I munched on my protein bar and just watched tik toks. Once it hit 12pm, I went to go take a shower.

I brushed and blow dried my hair. I didn't know what the hell to do with my hair. So, I did my hair like it was the night we watched the stars. I had two little braids in the front. I know, this hairstyle is stupid but almost everything I do, has a meaning to it. It was simple. I started to do my makeup. I planned to just do dark green shadow, eyeliner, my lips, and lashes. I'm not the best at makeup but today's looked decent. I slipped on my dress and checked myself out in the mirror. I looked hot. Sorry that sounded vain. Anyways, I put on the jewelry he got me. I grabbed my velvet emerald green clutch and put a few things inside. I put on my black vans. I didn't want to wear anything I could crease or fuck up because I haven't one idea where we're going. I liked how this fit still showed off my tattoos. I walked out of my room and went onto the balcony.

I took a few pictures of myself and posted it on my snap story. I went back inside and waited for Vinnie to come get me. It was about 2:30 when I was finished getting ready. It's now 8 minutes to 3pm. Kio walked out of his room and looked weirded out. "Why are you dressed so.. fancy? But wearing vans?" he asked, bewildered at my fit. I laughed and got up to show my outfit off. "The jewelry and dress are some of the gifts Vinnie got me. He told me to wear some hightops. His doing, not mine." I explained, putting my phone into my clutch. "You look nice I guess. Anyways, have fun on your date, dude." he smiled at me. I gave him a quick hug and thanked him.

I heard a knock on the door and walked over to go get it. I smiled when I saw Vinnie standing there with flowers. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and gave me a kiss. "God, I missed you, buttercup." he enunciated with a huge smile plastered over his face. We held onto each other for a while and then he gave me the flowers. Buttercups again. I love them so much because it's what he calls me. I put them into the vase on the counter with the ones he gave me previously. Vinnie wore a dark green cuban collared shirt with some black jeans. He had his black vans on too and his usual jewelry. I was done putting the flowers in the vase so we said our goodbyes to Kio and left.
