Robin wiped sweat from his forehead after swiftly taking out a thug in an alley.

"Brilliant technique, Robin."

He turned his head to face his mother, who was dressed head to toe in green and gold kevlar. On her face was a mask that shielded her eyes from sight. "Thank you, Batwoman."

"He learned it from me," Batman spoke while leaping down from the rooftop above.

"Tt," Robin muttered before returning his katana to its rightful spot. Despite his unenthusiastic expression, he enjoyed the praise.

"He is learning well. We did a good job," Batwoman said as she glanced at Batman, a smile on her glossed lips as she placed a kiss to his cheek.

It had been months after Trigon's defeat, and this was Damian's routine by now. Tim had willingly handed down the Robin mantle to him and pursued his vigilante career instead as Red Robin. Damian didn't like it at first, but he would be lying to himself if he said the new identity wasn't growing on him. Hell, Dick had even revised the uniform for him. That was a hard offer to turn down.

Not only that, but his father had somehow convinced Talia to fight crime by his side. How that happened still remained a mystery to Damian, but he didn't question it. He thoroughly enjoyed having both parents fight by his side. Sure, they had a few arguments here and there, but at the end of the day, they would still stay by each other's side.

"When are you coming home?"

The sweet sound of Raven's voice hindered Damian from moving as he pulled himself on top of the next rooftop with his grappling hook. Once he was up, he used his earpiece to respond to her. "How does tonight sound?"

"Really? Are you sure you can? I mean-"

Damian cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "I'm sure Gotham can do without one Robin for a day or two."

"I've missed you," Raven suddenly replied. He had been gone for a week, after all. That was a long time to a lonely girlfriend.

A warm smile pulled at his lips at her words. "As have I," he replied before turning his head to see his parents.

"I suppose we can call it a night," Batman decided, using his utility belt to call in the Batmobile as Batwoman leaned against his muscular arm.

As Raven sat in bed reading her book, the sound of tapping on her window caused her to put it down. Eagerly, she dashed towards her bedroom window to open it wide, a delighted smile curling on her lips at the sight of bright colors and a cape.

"Ever heard of doors?"

Damian didn't hesitate to leap into the room and pull her into a tight hug. "Doors are too predictable for me," he retorted before nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck. His arms reached up to let his fingers comb through her long soft locks of hair. "Besides, it's our apartment."

Raven let out a small chuckle as she wrapped her arms around him, closing her eyes as she took in his warmth.

"Welcome home."
