"Dude, this game stinks," Garfield complained as he turned off his phone.
Jaime looked at him, "Well then what do you wanna do?"
The six of them were piled in the minivan that Dick had purchased a while back. Garfield and Jaime were trying to play games to pass the time. Koriand'r was providing the directions to Dick using her phone. Raven had her earbuds in while Damian just had his head propped against the window, gazing out at the scenery they passed by.
"I don't know, hey Dami, you got any ideas?" Garfield turned around in his seat and asked the other boy. Damian and Raven had to sit in the back while Jaime and Garfield sat in the middle.
"I was going to take a nap," Damian answered.
"Ugh," Garfield groaned when he turned around and slid in the seat. "I can't stand sitting for this long with nothing to do."
"We'll be there soon guys," Koriand'r informed, giggling at the two boys.
When they finally arrived, Dick checked the team into the hotel. He got two rooms, one for him and Koriand'r and one for the rest of the team.
"Alright, everyone unpack and meet up down here," Koriand'r said, a smile on her face. Everyone made their way up to their assigned room.
Inside the team's room were two double beds, a bathroom and a kitchen. "I can sleep on the floor," Garfield spoke up as he started unpacking his bag, "You guys can sort out the bed thing."
With that, Garfield went to the bathroom to change. "I would prefer a bed," Jaime said and looked at the other two, "Scarab gets annoying when I don't get good sleep."
"Who?" Damian questioned. He'd never heard this term before.
"The beetle," Jaime answered, turning his bare back towards him so he could see Scarab.
"Oh," Damian replied, eyeing the beetle with a puzzled expression.
Jaime just shrugged and went into the bathroom to change once Garfield walked out. "Where's your swim trunks?" Garfield asked Damian, noticing that he was just standing there.
"I do not own any," Damian said, feeling awkward once the words left his mouth.
Garfield hummed and then raided his suitcase. Once he found a pair, he held them up in the air to display, "Here, they should fit you," he said before tossing them.
Damian swiftly caught the lake of swimwear and looked at them. They were simple, just a plain shade of crimson red.
"Unless you want these-" Garfield started but Damian immediately cut him off.
"No, that won't be necessary. I'll wear these," he said, going to the bathroom after Jaime exited, "Thanks."
"He's an alright dude," Garfield mentioned. Jaime just nodded in agreement before the two of them left the room to join Dick and Koriand'r, leaving Raven alone. She looked through her bag and found her swimsuit, waiting for Damian to change so she could use the bathroom next.
Damian slowly opened the door, unaware that Raven was still in the room. "Any day now," she tainted, crossing her arms across her chest.
"This is weird," he said as he covered his bare chest. The shorts were riding up his junk.
Raven let out a sigh and raised an eyebrow, "Have you never worn swim trunks before?"
Damian just shook his head. "Just adjust the strings in the waistband," she said before entering the bathroom.
He glanced down and attempted to fix his issue while she changed. Once it was fixed he headed for the door, but he halted when he heard a crash in the bathroom.
